Okay so... the character model is from Twilight Princess... they show Skyloft (from skyward sword) as a background.... and there's one of those armor things from Spirit Tracks... sure let's just mash up pieces from a ton of the different games lol...

Skyward Sword Zelda is the original reincarnation of Goddess Hylia, it says so during one of the cutscenes (a depressing cutscene, mind you).

Not a surprise that it's twilight princess zelda anyway. Link is quite clearly Twilight Link too (And I'm pretty sure that a lot of the returning characters are just using the brawl models with graphical improvements, rather than built from the ground up).

i digress though, sheik -IS- zelda, zelda transformed into sheik, not summon her, in the picture we can see them both.

if i remember the lore right the guards protected the tower before getting corrupted, so i believe that's just zelda summoning one of the guard towers, if that guard -was- zelda, she'd transform into it.

I don't like TwP Zelda, she is way too... gray-

But I guess SS' Zelda might look too much like Peach and Rosaline?
