It's times like this where I wish I could make her happy. But if I want to date a guy, I will. I don't think she'll ever accept me (I'm being 100% serious), so it's something I'll have to live with for the rest of my life.

I fear this may cause me to move away from home and never speak with her again...

My second attempt at differential equations was really shaky. I was 90% convinced I was going to get kicked out of school because I only get two attempts (IRC can attest to that), but today I finally got the final mark in and I got a C+.

On the tail end of being sick, still haven't gotten my appetite back but Yolo weight loss. Just started painting my girlfriends Christmas present. Hope to be done by new year's, when we are going on a trip up to Solvang, CA.

Spending tomorrow with my Father's side of the family, and then with immediate family on Christmas.

Stephen wrapped my gift and sent it with me so we could open our presents with each other on Skype on Christmas day

Totally forgot I had a report to write on the research stuff I did this semester so I've been pounding that out all day while trying to balance family and summer research applications.

Been checking for grades every few minutes (grades submitted after today won't be shown until next month), got an A- in COMP 302 (Programming Languages and Paradigms (with OCaml)). Considering I failed the class (with SML), along with several others, last winter (I was in a pretty bad place), I'm pretty stoked.

C+ and C in my other two classes, French is full year so it won't be added til May (acing it, anyway), and the grade I'm missing is the one where I'm absolutely sure I tanked the final, and frankly, it's a pretty easy class (Numerical Computation), so there's no hope of a curve =[

Goals for next semester: Attend all classes (and not get discouraged and give up just because I miss one or two), turn in all assignments, make more friends (I've made a total of two friends outside my family here in the last two and a half years), French it up. (and straight As? ;_.

My marks are so varied. A in accounting, A in economic research methods, A- in financial management I, C in intermediate macroeconomics II and a C- in economics of growth.
