How italians learn English

I was really bored so I went to check one of my old english books..

And I found this.

1.
It was 1933 and Percy Shaw, from England, was driving home at night along a dark road. He was worried because it was raining and he couldn't see very well. Then he saw something in the midde of the road.

In 1907, a French chemist called Eugene Schueller was talking to a woman in his shop. She was getting older and her hair was going grey. << LOL WTP?

In the 1920s in Scotland, John Logie Baird and a friend were talking on the phone. Baird thought the telephone was an amazing invention. (iPod is better ) While he was listening to his friend, he began to think, 'I'd really like to invent a machine like this - but for the eye, not for the ear'. Dragon Ball then followed his suggestion, and made the "scouter". ROTFL.

In 1853, in a restaurant in New York, people were having dinner. A man was eating fried potatoes, but he didn't like them. He called for the cook and told him that the potatoes were too thick. The cook, George Crum, got angry. "wtp MY POTATOES R FINE GET THE PINEAPPLE OUT OF MY RESTAURANT NIB!"



5.
In 1935, in a newspaper office in Budapest, a young Hungarian reporter was writing a story for the next day. He was unhappy with his pen because while he was writing, he had to stop many times to fill it with ink. And so he started to think. It was time. It isn't too hard to make a NORMAL pen.




And that's how italians learn English: with stupid stories, and dialogues like those. And well, obviously, even with grammar rules.

Why did I post this?

1. The curse filter's only been put in place for fun.
2. Old memes are new memes to some people, not to mention that there's no given length of time in which memes are considered old. No offense but I doubt you have come up with many (if any) winners, yerself.

Unrelated to you and perhaps off-topic, but I think it's odd when people complain about the "cancer killing /b/" or newfags in general while they themselves spout off "THEBESTTHEBESTTHEBESTTHEBEST" like it's something hilarious.
