Well then I've got some dodging practice to do.
I haven't done Magnus in like ~3 months either so I'm pretty rusty.
At least 80% of my deaths were to that bull pomegranate green laser attack, so I can't really do much about that.

Couldn't at all figure out what attack was KOing me on the eyes (seemed to be anywhere on the map; I lost one life while I was rebuffing from the previous death lol), but Easy = little enough HP that didn't matter, I killed him first. Sorta curious about doing a Normal mode run now. Main problem would be his little golems; I was up to 5 curses when I took down the gem, don't have any skills that hit downward that far while I'm attacking the eyes.

Don't mind me, just killing Krexel quickly enough that I don't even have to rebuff once (cast 180sec CO before even entering the map) It does only have 900mil hp after all.

Hayato can kill it too, it just takes longer cause Hayato sucks at dps (both are using 10-hit attacks...)

Soloed easy Magnus, without dying!

I need to die less. I'm too reckless under the belief that I'm invincible (but the balls aren't affected by my % HP damage reduction, the green attack is though ). The delay on my buffs is frustratingly slow for me, and Magnus keeps knocking me back (again? I thought he stopped), though sometimes that's to my advantage, like when he knocks me out of the way of a blue or purple ball.

Then again, I guess I don't really care if I die a lot so long as I kill it.

I guess a Superior Crystal is what they mean by rare crafting materials.

Got a cubic blade (technically, a sealed cubic blade use item, which gives a cubic blade) on the second run, which I guess is okay. No Sweetwater weapons though, which makes me sad.

Oh well, tomorrow's a new day.

We were just messing around and after a couple runs we tried seriously. Except! I didn't equip all my stuff and we didn't optimize the run (no red/green pots). I'm not sure if we would have made it but with a few small upgrades i think it's possible!

Finally got off my lazy ass and did an actual boss! DR is scary ;_; I was attacking every three seconds to make sure he wasn't casting DR at the same second I used CL..

I beat Easy Magnus, but I have literally no idea how anyone can beat him on higher difficulties if he's this bullshit hard on easy mode.
