RED update thoughts and feedback
Alex123123 Wrote:I haven't gotten too far on my Zero (level 112) but what bothers me is Alpha's basic combo. That Slash->rush->teleport combo is pretty pineappleing awkward (I regret putting a point on the teleport skill), and sometimes Alpha will just phase through some mobs. So it's like trying to control a mobile clusterpineapple.

I don't think you have a choice about putting a point in the Teleport skill; when I put 1 SP in Slash, the quests gave me 1 each in rush+teleport and 8 in mastery.

Oh yeah, more complaints coming down the pipeline.

None of Beta's skills can be jumpcast.
Half of Alpha's can, but not when being tagged - if you're beta, you cast them on the ground.

Attacks have immense vertical range down the road though...it would be so unfair and work against her theme of being strong as hell but slow as f'uck if you could air cast (and thus be moving while you attack and also adjust the range you need to hit above you). Alpha is supposed to move all the time and be fast and combo with beta so they both get what they lack.

I really like Zero's playstyle. Alpha is swift with clearing out long platforms with many mobs over a wide range, so his horizontal range is extremely big (especially with the projectile from his basic combo's 3rd attack). Beta is really slow, but got a bit better vertical range with her second hit. Sword Throw also seems to add quite some range.

The Story is hilarious. Got to the point where they got Lapis and Lazuli.
I want Lazuli as a petsword. She is incredibly adorkable about killing things.
Also:
Lapis: "She's really crazy. I think she might be a vegetarian."

Even so, weird that you can't tag while in the air. It's not like Beta's casting the attack.

Gets much less annoying when Beta has 100% stance- KB doesn't prevent you from attacking anymore.

Man, it feels like Beta does everything and I only bring out Alpha to keep up the crit buff.

The fact that Beta digs that panda brings me dirty thoughts.

Did grosso polpo during the 2x event and got superior item crystal x2 and nothing from one run.

I imagine Grosso drops Sweetwaters at the lowest out of all possible bosses.

Just hit 100 on this Crusader I made for All 4 One. I gotta say Fighter to Crusader felt really, really weak. Like, I can't compare it to revamp page but the spearman I also made for All 4 One was a lot stronger... but a huge margin using the same equips.

Nothing happened when I clicked them Sad

Also, bosses in Mirror World Dungeons drop Gold Label set recipes, I got one while hunting for these shards (as well as various high level alchemy recipes) and another master craftmans cube.

Oh yeah, they drop those bonus potential stamps too. 20% for the brown one, 40% for the white one, both untradeable, both no boom.

My record for fastest dungeon clear time was 58 seconds!

well someone in my server got a sweet water staff , so i can say the boss has a chance to drop it.

There are 2 things about Zero that I really really love, and that I didn't even notice until much later on:
1: Zero has nearly no buffs. Zero essentially uses the Maple Warrior Clone (900 sec duration, no cooldown), Red Aura/Blue Aura (never runs out) and the revival skill which also never runs out) so with the exception of recasting Maple Warrior every 15 minutes, you NEVER have to stop and re-buff. which is probably why Zero's playstyle seems so fast.

I think it's bullpomegranate that on every class I have to interrupt actually playing the game every 2 minutes or so to stand still and watch the same animations over and over. If these are buffs which I HAVE to use to play my character efficiently, I wish they would last 15 minutes like Maple Warrior and not 2 or 3 damn minutes like every other class buff. The worst offenders of this by far are the weapon booster skills.

2: Piggybacking off this: Zero's buffs don't pin you down at all when you use them. Try it, cast Maple Warrior while walking. it's seamless. The one and only buff that Zero has to recast, it STILL doesn't slow you down at all.

So on one hand, I LOVE Zero for these reasons. on the other hand though, it makes me very pissed off at Nexon for not doing this for every class. the game would be much faster and much more enjoyable to play without having to stop every 2 minutes. ESPECIALLY during boss fights, where you have to find a safe spot to recast. and even more especially when you die and lose all your buffs.

I second this. I'm really loving Zero now, seeing how far I've gotten. They're now at 162, and the gameplay's starting to get juicy. Oh man, does Divine Leer helps out Alpha's death problem.

Nexon threw in a Them Crooked Vultures reference into the Zero questline. I'm impressed.

I don't know how many of you play with music on, but I'm absolutely loving the everloving pomegranate out of the Mirror World remixes for the towns.

So good.

Being Evan is suffering when it comes to this.

Or even Xenon, having to manage OOParts is really annoying during combat.

All my "R" boxes seemed to have disappeared, and I was going to open them as well. Frown

So good.

So, I turned the music on because: movies Rolleyes

I've only checked Leafre's and I think that's way better than the original...
