Honestly, after doing the entire Zero quest line and more, it's one of the smoothest battle systems in maple. If it doesn't feel right to you, you're probably doing something wrong. That being said, I would definitely recommended anyone making a zero to buy a quest booster coupon if you can. I know Stereo was asking about it earlier, but I just got my weapon to unique and I'd estimate it took around 20, give or take, tries. Not long at all. Could just have been lucky though.
Also can I just say how much I love people acting like I'm the first lvl 180 Zero in the world? So fun haha.

Zero's combos really start to become ridicuously fun and easy to use after around level 160 or so. EVERY single one of Zero's skills gets upgraded to become more useful, if anything the only skill I don't use often is Beta's throwing weapon skill, everything else I use by abusing the hell out of the tag/assist system.
I was clearing out whole levels of the dungeons in one combo, and I'm usually the kind of person who sucks at performing combos, I also thought that I might have latency and it might affect Zero's skills, but it didn't, at all.

Right, my vessel reached level 3 and I unlocked the Rosa trade route. At level 3 my vessel gained an extra 2 inventory space, which is awesome because now I get extra profit per run.
I fought Grosso Polpo EVERY time on this trade route, I was expecting him to be rarer, but I only had 3 runs on this trade route, maybe I got lucky.
the first 2 times he dropped nothing but mesos, the third time he dropped a Sealed Cubic Blade which was counted as "treasure". I'd imagine I could have traded it, but I used it instead (it was a use item) and I got a Cubic Blade.
I'm not sure why, but Grosso Polpo was green instead of orange like we'd seen in the past. I wonder if it's a low level version?

I personally don't like Zero but liked the story; however, Zero play style is so bleh that I end up skipping over story quest dialog just to try and get it over with.
Hopefully I can just read the quest data later.
I'd also be level 12 in Alchemy if we had Fatigue potions. Jeez, the price of them in the cash shop is too steep.

Already went through my old ones. Don't believe there is anywhere in game to purchase new ones?

Yes, the amount of EXP you gain from killing stuff is quite small in comparison to Quest EXP.

I'll just throw out there that 2.5k nx for 2x quest exp, which lasts 10 days, is absolutely wonderful and a REALLY good price. Even I bought one.

Stereo; The cooldown reduction for every attack applies for ALL cooldowns. Unless you play with sub-double-digit latency, yes it's not going to be very observable for those 5-10 second cooldown skills. However, Time Holding will reset the cooldown of Time Rewind while providing yourself with 15 seconds of invulnerability, so the Time Rewind-Time Holding combo is extremely strong. Couple that with the fact that Time Holding has a cooldown of only 180 seconds before Mercedes' card... yeah.
Spadow showed a video of Zero killing Arky when Zero was released in KMS, and brushing aside several consecutive screen crashes. It felt odd to me that he could use Time Holding so often until I figured out what was going on.

Zero is probably a class where I can just relax and look at the storyline over the typical "get character to ___ level and go back to drk". Pretty decent story but the playstyle is iffy sometimes. Sometimes it's fun and other times it's a hassle (usually when im using beta and switching from beta to alpha). >.>

So, anyone else thinks that the FJ animation for warriors is wrong?
I mean, I think it'd make much more sense if it was flipped horizontally. :f6:

I received a permanent Fennec Fox in Bera. You can claim free permanent pets once per world.

I haven't gotten too far on my Zero (level 112) but what bothers me is Alpha's basic combo. That Slash->rush->teleport combo is pretty pineappleing awkward (I regret putting a point on the teleport skill), and sometimes Alpha will just phase through some mobs. So it's like trying to control a mobile clusterpineapple.
The gameplay improves with the level 110 cooldown skill Alpha gets, but it still feels like I don't have much control over the character. Heck, so far I've found myself using Beta a whole lot more than Alpha for ... everything. I'll keep playing it for the story (and Beta <3) tho. Maybe I'll get better at handling this class shenanigans. <_<

I doubt another like .1 seconds on it's duration would be helpful in any way

corsair and jett is +16% summon duration total
4sec base
.16*4 = 0.64 seconds extra

The worst thing about alpha basic combo is that if you have no pots and you attack he'll just teleport straight on top of things and you die. At least you can kind of cheat death by switching to beta but there are other terrible things about shadow blade or whatever the tele is called.

Wouldn't it round down to 4 seconds anyway?
