RED update thoughts and feedback
FoolsLove Wrote:Just to be completely sure, you can't do Commerci quests unless you've finished the Tynerum quests, right? I didn't try going directly there, as I wanted to start my Zero, but trying to accept Neinheart's pop-up quest for it was telling me I needed to finish Tynerum.

If that's the case, I'm rather upset about that. There's no way I can finish the Tynerum quests due to the immense lag I get in the labyrinth.
I was getting that lag too and I just turned the graphic of effects/skills to low and it went away since the lag comes from some overall effect that makes the maps b/w.

Not sure how I feel about Zero. I think I'm playing it wrong.

Could just be because I'm low level but there doesn't seem to be a point to switching between Alpha and Beta when Alpha's basic combination does so much work on its own.

It becomes more apparent later on. Still though, Alpha is definitely better at mobbing and Beta is most definitely better at bossing. So using Alpha a lot during the dungeons seems to be kinda intended.

I already have the graphics set to low, but I'll try the effects as well once the game pops back up.

Really? I've just been using Beta to one shot everything so far. Goes faster than Alpha or even switching between the two to keep their buffs up.

Plus, she gets 100% Stance early on.

She one-shots everything yes, but her attacks are slow and don't have the mobility of Alpha's attacks. especially the level 120 skill that basically throws Alpha around the map like Sonic the Hedgehog on speed, and has such a large hitbox that it hits enemies on the other side of the map before you even reach them.

Trust me, by the time you are only level 150, you are on drugs with alpha.
It had me at the point where i would only use beta for bosses.

Seriously though, alpha must of had a little too much monster

Don't care what anyone says, I'm loving this class and not because of the damage. Some people probably hate that they need to follow the quests, but I find every aspect of the mirror world/Zero combination awesome. I know this isn't necessarily true, but it feels like the only class that you actually have to play throughout its entire growth as opposed to making a class just to grind mindlessly at the hotspots while ignoring all quests, all for the purpose of getting to 4th job and becoming an nx dumpster.

I completely agree, there is a very satisfying feeling of growth and unlocking your powers as you level up and progress through the story. It doesn't feel like grinding at all when you are simply enjoying the story and enjoying playing such a fun class.

Playing Zero today for a few hours was one of the most fun maple experiences I've had since I found the game.

Burst step = Maple + Megaman X

Seriously though I'm addicted to maple all over again, and I'm not sure thats a good thing. Sad

Yeah Zero was something different, and alot better than other classes storylines becuase this one you are required to complete.

But Honestly, 170 - 180 was the worst feeling ever, I hated every minute of it.

What's so bad about 170-180?

The longest, most stressful chapter

You grind out 171-172, 174 at around 60% to 176, and then 178 at around 60% again to 180.

It took me over 100 dungeons to complete this chapter, each dungeon taking me 2-3 minutes
worst... feeling... ever

Justin is right, it was KMS

On a side note, it's fun seeing the weird and crazy antics alpha and beta pull on each other and the people they come into contact with... They really had a lot of fun with this mirror world thing, and it shows.

Well obviously not, but for people who are trying to get 500 coins, Zero ring, Zero Link skill, and the All Four one event done, its pretty bad.

Can't possibly be worse than Sengoku High or those last 2 Gollux quests
