Easiest way to get RED coins after today?

I realized that the R boxes are going to stop dropping today, and I realized I have <70 coins on various characters, and I don't want them to go to waste because it suddenly became too much of a hassle to get coins. I know Santa boxes will still drop for the rest of the event, but they drop much less frequently than R boxes and I have no idea how good are the odds to getting RED coins from those.

"E boxes" will drop after tomorrow's patch. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get RED coins from those too.

If you have the inventory space, stock up on Frozen R's and open them over the next few days. (Item description says they can be opened until the 23rd).

Other than that and the fairly rare Santa boxes (and socks... do those drop by themselves or only come from boxes? The socks can give RED coins too), I hope the Zero patch brings with it new ways to get coins. We should get a new attendance season with more coins, and of course the Zero events (but I think those only give coins to the Zero). Not sure about anything farmable, but we'll see.

Guys, just check your Maple Achievement tab (trophy icon). As you can see, Season 2 has an achievement for using 20 E Ice Cubes.

EDIT: There's also that new Bingo event.

All I'm looking forward to is the RED shop limit reset (only to waste a fuckton of coins on those stupid slates ).

A majority of items worth buying in the shop (both cubes, scrolls, prots) are account tradeable so you can just buy whatever you need.

My plan was to farm zero characters for tons of coins to get cubes. I don't know how fast it will be though, if even possible at all.

IIRC, The 500 coin zero event is one time per maple ID
so you would have to play on other accounts to farm coins.

Well that's ok too, i didn't really have anything to spam cubes at anyway unless i wanted to be masochistic and get gollux stuff to unique/leg.

Thought in korea you needed a level 100+ character in order to make a zero o.o It was one of the restrictions to make one when they released it.

I'm not sure if they'll carry over the level limit, since they haven't mentioned that our zero would be released once like korea did.

There wasn't any limit I'm pretty sure, and that's not in any of the Korean patch notes for the Child of God patch, as far as I can tell.

Huh that's weird. It in an annoucnemnt when zero was first shown as one of the requirements for making one [it also had an account activation date as one of the pre-reqs as well].

Guess the reqirements were scrapped during release into main servers.

iirc Zero's 500 coin thing comes from completing all his storyline quests, meaning you need a level 180 Zero for the full 500.

Well apparently getting from 100-180 on a zero is the same as getting 1-100 on an explorer, or at least that's what nexon thinks due to the kin event.

The coins you get from Zero actually come from boxes which are account tradeable, so you can get the 500 coins on any character(s) you want, as long as you transfer the boxes to your other character before you open them.
