The gameplay trailer better live up to the expectations...

Everything looks a bit too shiny and plastic like.

I wonder if that transforming armour/weapon will be part of gameplay.

The sword at 1:12 looks like Xenon's whip blade. But ok fine I could live with a sword that "opens up"...

It can still be the past and the sword just be magical.
Or they don't care how the game will be like and just throw in cool looking stuff.

It has Luminous in it. Anyone who knows me knows I'm not going to complain about that.

But generally speaking, hard to tell because the prequel isn't out yet....

Quite impressive jumps. Hopefully the game will look as good as the trailer...

They officially announced it's going to be set in the past. We're going by their words, not hoping for it. Not to mention the girl in the first image looks a lot like Aria.

I don't think that's such a good idea, plot holes often pop up when video games do things like this. But apparently they still want to continue MS1 (Why not? It's still one of the top games in South Korea, ranked at #9 for the week of 12/9-12/15. And I certainly hope the boost of activity since RED launched put an end to the "GMS is dying" talk.) and milk the Black Mage for all he's worth, so we can't have a sequel where he's been defeated (Spoils the plot for MS1!) or where he's still around..... (Spoils the plot for MS1 and makes things feel pointless since we won't get a resolution!)

Really, to be safe, it should take place in the time period after the Black Mage was sealed.

[MENTION=7024]Endgame[/MENTION] It's a separate game. A separate game with its own story line and game systems and all that. It won't have any relation to MapleStory besides the name and the references to MapleStory that might pop up in the game.

Back in the early days I always thought the 3D movies were great. I was disappointed when they switched to the 2D anime-esque videos.
