How was your day?

I beat the main storyline of X. The ending was SO CORNY

So, I got off work around noon, then slept til about 8. woke up, showered, walked from the ship to my car, aaaand my battery is dead.
Call the insurance, they place the jump start call in... and they're 50 minutes late eventually showing up.
As I leave the base, I get stopped for a random car search.

FML.

So I always get paranoid over the little things and this made me worry:

I drive to school at 5:30 AM and it normally takes 30 minutes to reach my college campus. Right before I got onto the freeway, my car signaled a "low tire pressure" indicating that one of my tires may need to be pumped. This made me wonder what did I do to cause this; was it when I drove my little brother back home at night, did I run over some glass or some object to have that happening, etc. So for the next 30 minutes, I'm driving while constantly looking at the signal every other second. I'm wondering whether I would crash if it popped, if I were to die tomorrow, what did I do to impact anyone's life...

And the signal went away right when I got to school. Was it... a false? Am I going to re-encounter it again?

Stop by a gas station on your way back and pump up your tires. It's not a big deal. Tires regularly lose pressure over time.
The light probably went away because your tire warmed up and so the air pressure inside rose.

It may also help to have an air pressure gauge in your glove box. Worrying isn't going to fix the problem, so might as well be proactive about it.

The amount of candy I eat raises many questions from my friends. Two of the most frequently asked being:

1. How are you not fat?
2. How are you not dead?

One--just bulking, bro. Two--I have no idea.

Manager woke me up from my like 4 hour nap to tell me I won $250 bucks (500 total) from the scratch offs we split on. I am living the life

Also, I went to get some blood drawn today and noticed the cute phlebotomist had a 350z. Whyyyyy do I notice these things.

Finals got delayed because of weather. Derp.

Less Break and Moar study time, so its an even trade I suppose. (Although I am studying at home)

Invited a boy who is not my husband to the company Christmas party. Wrote his name down on the guest list posted in the break room.

LET THE RUMORS FLY!

Had an amazing time at the Christmas party. Got drunk and partied with a bunch of my favorite people. Crushing pretty hard on said boy. Feeling kinda terrified.

After the party we went to a park, sat on the swings, and talked about life, the universe, and everything. He walked me home. I invited him upstairs for pumpkin pie and whipped cream, then we talked some more. Finally sent him home a little past 2am. Resisted every urge in my body to kiss him...

I am very mistrustful of what I feel towards this boy. Am I really into him because of him? Or am I just looking to fill the empty space in my heart? He is nerdy and creative and talented and sweet and truly a good guy. He knows I'm not at all ready for anything to happen between us and is respectful of that. I want to get to know everything about him but I do not want to ask him to put his life on hold waiting for me because who knows when I will be ready, or if what I'm feeling right now is real.

Had a lot of fun at my Christmas party too. Free food + free drinks + open bar is just one of the greatest combinations ever.

Was 20 minutes late to a Final because I'm stupid. Promptly failed it because I'm an idiot. If I fail this class, I might switch majors...

Finals Week

It feels like I've had a recurrent cold for like a month now.


Weird.

I took my politics final today, hoping for an A in that class but it's teetering between low A and high B ugh jfc. After that and work I decided to not study and get my christmas on.

I completely I wanted to do buy presents for my friends since I'll be off island for Christmas... and I blew it off. Oh my gosh, I'm terrible. I owe them for all the times they've saved my arse in my AP classes. ._.

Differential Equations final in 20 minutes. Been studying my butt off since I did pretty bad on the midterm because I spent more time studying for my gen ed class (that final was yesterday, relieved that it's done).

I hope the test is oriented towards matrix solutions instead of power series and laplace transforms

First term of university is finished, it's gone so fast
Really sad I'm not going to see most of my friends for a few weeks, a lot of people live hours and hours away which is a shame. The girl I like is going home to Luxembourg for the holidays too. I kissed her for the first time saying bye this evening.
