Server Rollback

I don't expect compensation (though I do predict Nexon will give out some kind of 2x or gifts to make people forget), but since Monday seems to be wiped out of Maple existence, all its dailies need to either be given freely or the relevant events extended.
This means at the very least attendance stamps and Sengoku daily pass. The 20 RED coins one could get from Frozen R's would be nice too.

Will the rollback cure anything? Well, it will cut down somewhat on the chaos and make sure any items duped or used in the last frenzied hours of the public hack will be undone. As for the items created in the days or months before that... hopefully Nexon will manage to track at least some down. And, let's face it, if the hack has been going on for months and we didn't notice an effect on the economy that couldn't be attributed to various events, then I guess it's not as disastrous as all that. Yes, it galls that hackers and their cronies have perfect gear and made or will make lots of $$, but that has always been so. Compete with other legits, if you must compete at all.

The hack has only been going on for the past few days, since it depends on the new Bingo UI that was added with RED (not the bingo from a past event). If you check the forum post that made the exploit public, you'd see that although someone claimed the hack was there for months, the "discoverer" of the exploit called that person out.

well I just checked my transaction history, got back my NX credit I used so I don't really mind a rollback unless attendance event gets fucked up

Same goes for searching on "hack sites"- I don't peruse those forums regularly...however it's probably wise to check on Southperry or whatever your forum of choice would be.

Maybe it's just me but all I saw at southperry was this thread http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=70711 (didn't give it that much attention) and in game those smegas with 10+ stars just seemed to me as if the obnoxious kids were back with RED.

I wonder if the dupes and the lag even when there wasn't that much people on are related(was getting some lag after the 2x was done and servers were to normal post RED).

Waiting to hear a response from Nexon (through Maryse) about whether or not they're hellbanning people who may have unknowingly bought duped items (before the prices and quantities got ridiculously low and high, respectively).

Otherwise, I'm okay with this rollback. I really didn't do anything (aside from buy two RED cubes), and though it doesn't automatically fix the items sold prior to 8:00 PM Pacific, hopefully it satisfies people who trained during 2x earlier in the day.

Damn. Trying to remember when I potted mine and when I used one of the free cubes on it. Got 4% crit and 6 attack, which while Rare is quite nice for something free. Ah well, guess we'll see.

I for one don't really care if nebs get mostly deleted but still cheaper. They're mostly overpriced to begin with and the value will go up regardless because they're consumables.

I got 24% luk on a pair of Alien PQ earrings with the 3rd of the free cubes. I am going to be blue if I did that later than I think I did.

Yeah i'm expecting everything to hit the market at once to take advantage of the "go ahead" situation we have where suddenly everything remaining is "legit" and can be sold.
