I'm still mad my main stream (Bronystate) threw commercials at the worst times possible so I was lagging behind everyone. The bigger slap in the face was where after this one streak of commercials the whole stream blacked out so I had to refresh. Cue 2 MORE commercials.

Overall: 8/10. Some points were lost because I felt Rainbow Dash was unnecessarily fangirling. Kind of like how back in Season 1 when they aired two CMC episodes in a row and many didn't like that. The fangirl must be either contained or done in shorter bursts. Points also lost because Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon being total b'itches nearly ruining the CMCs and getting away with it.
Good parts: The CMCs, more or less. Their song, their Equestrian games performance.

After they show their routine to dash I had to pause and go back a couple times because I couldn't hear what dash was saying due to my own laughter.
Also I agree those two need to be slapped, next time they pull something like this they need to be punished so kids don't go thinking they can do whatever they like without consequences.
The song was amazing!!! and also hilarious due to their challenges.
I bump this late at night to remind everyone that it's less than 7 hours until the live stream of "Power Ponies" airs. Will we be seeing giant monsters vs ponies action? Will it be more of a Justice League style episode? Will things trek into Japanese sentai territory and we get a Pony Megazord? Tune in this morning to find out!

Man, why there so many leaks this season? I feel like I'm the only one catching it traditionally anymore. And well, being a superhero themed episode I can't imagine it'll have anything life-changing or meaningful, but more of a fun tribute to the superhero genre.

Overall:
-I liked the tribute to the superhero genre. One thing for sure that I can't deny was it gave no true progress to the overall arc that the season started with, although it can easily be implied the castle got entirely cleaned off-screen. Definitely more of a Spike episode, and I think I'll place it as one of the better Spike episodes for sure. Also Rarity continues to climb up to being best Pony when she so quickly learned how to use her powers. But then again, given she's a dress designer her imagination is way better than probably the entire Green Lantern Corps. Maniac is a good villain, amusingly savvy. But, I swear you gotta try very hard to not notice Spike walking around the whole floor setting up a trap. Also shouldn't the hairdryer have made Maneiac more powerful? I missed a little of the last bit.
Overall: 8.5/10. Not Hasbro's best work, but still a fun watch.
Got a new graphics tablet for christmas and siince one of the very first things I ever drew was fluttershy on my first tablet I decided to give it a second shot (albeit humanized and sort of realistic)

Overall: Fun episode. We also see that Twilight still needs work with her magic so she's not 100% competent in magic just because of her Alicorn status. I feel the gags and jokes were done well, Pinkie, Dash, and Rarity being great source of humor without feeling too overdone or forced.
Rainbow Dash confirmed to be an alcoholic.

I kind of wish that they didn't sacrifice Apple-Tom. Perhaps they could have just flown up to capture her, but I suppose Dash didn't want to be too rough on Fluttershy, plus Twilight is still not good enough at flying to help capture Flutters too.
9/10. Nice slice of life episode that gives a twist to the classic "magic backfire" episode in the end. This may not be the complete end of Flutterbat.
GAH! I'm some type of genius! I only realized I didn't have steam up until the episode was over! Oh well.
Episode 7, Bat Country
This episode kinda hit the feels but too bad, but not too much. It's nice to just slow down and finally have another Slice Of Life episode that was really down to earth.(Anyone noticed the yellow-striped bat as a nod to "May The Best Pet Win!", where Dash was wondering if Shy had a "Yellow-Striped Bat?" "no." I swear, I wasn't going nuts when I saw one.)
Anyways, the episode itself, again, a very nice one, seeing the family bond with Pinkie, who doesn't really have much of a family (Aside from the cakes being a surrogate family, to an extent,) and my respect for dash slowly dwindles this season. (Though, we knew she was a total alcoholic two seasons ago anyways!) Anyways, bats. Tons and tons of bats. Something tells me this won't be the last time we'll be seeing them, or Apple-Tom. 9/10
