New JMS stuff?

SaptaZapta Wrote:Elixirs and power elixirs?

That's only an idea if you either have the money to buy them from the free market all of the time or if you can farm/horde them from bosses. If you can't, tough luck. Luckily, TKWizard's old account still has a ton of Elixirs and Power Elixirs and I still have thousands of Elixirs/Power Elixirs horded up if I get into seriously playing Maple again. Plus, those only become cost effective to use after a certain point. Honsters had a nice, low cap of around 5,000 ~ 6,000 HP where they become extremely cost effective to buy over other types of potions (especially since JMS Honsters were only 2,000 each).

Does JMS have monster life? If so, the potions heal 10k... but only 10k so warriors suffer (I'm a mage... MP is even worse...). For everything else, there's untradable potions from Ani's box.

OK, confirmed from the first RED update of GMS. The new Zero skill shown at the offline event is indeed a new skill.

Name: Hurricane Wind
Description: The two Zero combine their powers to create a huge hurricane. They move around in the hurricane form, drawing in enemies while dealing damage. The damage increases over time.

So, it's an entirely new skill, no reskin? Surely, they're not going to leave it at that.

Sure sounds like just another variation on angelic buster (and phantom to some extent)'s keydown fast attacks to me.

I actually think it is the right desicion, made way too late. I mean one of the reasons Bishops were so overly useless was because of all cure potions and NexAm's introduction of NLC potions. If they had been taken out when not all bosses were soloable it would have been an improvement to make the support role necessary at bossing once again. but today most people that does the bossing are inmensely funded and don't need anyone but themselves.

What. The. Fu'ck. Seriously, I don't have the fu'cking cash for regular potions if I started playing again.

I farm elixirs/power elixirs from Hilla and Root Abyss. I stopped buying NLC potions ever since, I just transfer leftovers to my new characters.

Hilla is not in JMS at all, outside of the Boss Tower which requires besting Chaos Horntail first (and I believe Pink Bean? I don't remember anymore) which is not possible with the people I know that would help. Root Abyss bosses have too high HP for me to handle alone. In a party I wouldn't get enough drops to be able to compensate the amount I would use.

There are quite literally no options for me. I do not have the DPS nor the community to be able to handle these bosses. JMS is not like GMS, there is not hacked gear everywhere and even imagining breaking 100k range is quite the pipedream for a regular player who has other expenses in life. 15* gear is non-existent and Unique gear is worth hundreds of dollars, even for the worst of lines.

Spend hundreds of hours into crafting so I can proceed to...do nothing with it? What exactly would be my plans here? I have no content options. Every update makes things even harder than they were before, and I couldn't handle the content from six months ago.

Why do you think I quit in the first place? The game is such a power creep and there's absolutely nothing to help me keep up. There's no fun in the new content, especially if you can't even participate in it legitimately.

The only reason I would consider playing again is to play a new class and enjoy some new mechanics. Once I hit ~140 I'm done, because there's absolutely no reason to go further.

The game already has a serious flaw that has existed since it started - The need to have potions in such extremes. If they wanted to fix something, they should have fixed that. They attempted to with potion cooldowns, but all it did was make the areas with them completely unenjoyable and nearly unplayable (without respawns, which are pointless). The need to chug potions to survive is one of the many fundamental flaws with the game, and part of the reason the game and its bosses are simply not fun.

I might have a theory on the Zero skill. The odd thing is that it may be in our data.
 Spoiler

Compare to the GMS data on the left and the KMS data to the right. A new skill ID after the Shadow Rain skill ID and after scanning skill IDs for quite some time, I know attack skills often side along other attack skills. Below are more images I took.

 Spoiler

This ID is only available on our String.wz, it's not there on our GMS skill.wz, neither is on our KMS skill.wz. This is all I got, I can't prove anything. There's also another estranged ID that works like Hero's Will, but again, not in KMS's data. Either these might be exclusive skills or we're still holding a Zero that hasn't received changes that KMS has gotten yet, I don't know.

It is. But the data on the new skill is incomplete. Strings are there, but no skill frames.

To be honest, that skill doesn't really say "Drop Time" and for how big it is, I'm surprised that it doesn't have a cooldown.
