What sane person would place it elsewhere but the top left? Pretty sure Maple doesn't save the position of where you change the mini-map so I would find moving it every time I logged on to be a hassle. Only times when I have my mini-map anywhere but the top left is when there's an announcement, boss fights, or when I want to hide my exp bar so I don't get tempted to look at it when training.

I have it on the right. I've tried having it on the left and it felt like I had better vision with it on my right. Though, to be fair I'm in the habit of scanning to the right anyways.
