The Zero patch put the HP bars below them, they switched them back at some point though it seems.

Well, this is one thing that's kinda bothered me... The original hero's name was FREUD. Not Evan. So... is the MAPLE supposed to represent the heroes of the present, or of the past?... Eunwol or whatever would fit perfectly into MAPLE as the old heroes, but then what about Freud?

I dunno, does Evan even count? He wasn't there for the big sealing deal and Freud seems to be killed off for real on top of having an F name.

the story isn't too complicated. as long as you understand the basic concept of the world tree, the black mage and how each major boss/major hero ties into the story then the story starts to make more sense. Its the fact that the average mapler doesnt take the time to read up anything during npc chats that the general doesnt know about the maplestory "story"

I'm obviously referring to the plot holes / inconsistencies - and yes, I read all the NPC chat dialogues (at least the first time that I went through them).
