I mean, doing a 350+ hit combo is one hell of an achievement, considering that you need an entire party in ToS to even pull off a 350+ hit combo. >_> . . . . Plus, this was even done to a boss.

Then again, the Overlimit system in ToV seems slightly toned down and doesn't seem to give the boss a huge advantage. Plus, I wouldn't really call it spamming.. You haven't seen spamming until you see videos of Stahn spamming Sword Rain on a boss over and over and over. @___@;;;

Maybe play the game before actually judging it. It doesn't involve spamming, the video maker abused it. This game has way more strategy than your average RPG k.

These typical games include button mashing, no focus at all, and kinda just not dying.

As far as I see in the video that is, there may be more to it. Kinda seems like it's going to be a one sided fight, all the time as well.

Can't help it. I'm one of those 19 old guys that plays SSBM competitively to make money, and Tales was one of the first RPGs I started playing when I was only 10 years old. Makes sense, to me anyways.

As for that vid Chris posted, the Fatal Strike cancel reminded me of the Wave Dash, lol. @_@

All those gameplay videos are nothing more than battle scenes, there are actual towns and etc. Think of the battle system in this game as pokemon. You touch a monster, the scenario changes and you engage in battle. This RPG requires some thinking as most dungeons have some puzzles.[/COLOR][/SIZE][YOUTUBE]vGxLNJrClDQ[/YOUTUBE]

Tales is like Final Fantasy, minus the boring 5 hour cutscenes, graphics, and story (although there's usually not much of a story left at all), plus battles that are actually enjoyable. At least until someone abuses the system to spam 3 skills in succession for 10 minutes straight, and makes a video out of it. Then it's MapleStory.

But it still looks like something I wouldn't buy to play. This does, however, make me want a MvC3.
