Well, don't Arrows/stars need time to speed up? Bullets do that in the barrel.

Technically you could shove arrows and stars into people so they won't need a start up time, but you can't do that with bullets.

But I'm me, you're you, and neither of us are each other, so I'll complain. D:

I think he meant more of what monsters to hunt to get the skill books instead of how to get the skills in the first place.

Yeah, ST 20 is a pain but it's kinda cheap as far as i know. 20m or so.

I found ST20 off manon [or it was griffey but pretty sure manon] and i had to lower to 3m to sell. I see tons in bello fm all under 10m unsold. They gotta go under 5m to sell and even then it's a little hard.

I'm just wondering, as a Gunslinger, what is the formula to determine the amount of Dex that equals to 1 W.Att? Thanks kindly~

Same thing as a Sniper.

Same thing as every other job to determine the amount of x stat to equal 1 W.ATT.

Meaning it's usually hovers around 4~6 in your 12x~15x area and goes to 7~8 in your 17x~18x area.

The exact number depends on your own stats/gear though. What you can do is make an excel chart with the formula and add 1 weapon attack. Then go back to the original weapon attack and see how much dex is required to equal that. I haven't done it for a while but there should be a way to calculate it for your current stats/gears and then expand the table so each new cell contains your next level (and +5 to dex) and the amount of dex required to equate 1 weapon attack is in the cell right next to it.

I now have a scrolled Infinity's Wrath (lvl 80 Gun) with 94 attack.

I'm wondering what lvl gun I should be using till level 200.

Lets say I have 80 STR right now, and I'm using a lvl 80 gun with 94 attack.

What attack Lvl 90/100/110 gun, would be better then this? (keep in mind I would have to add 10 STR to use lvl 90 gun, 20 STR to use lvl 100, and 30 STR for lvl 110. Whatever STR I add, I lose from adding into DEX).

I kind of need to know how much DEX= 1 Weapon Attack.

Let's say it's 5 Dex= 1 Weapon Attack for Gunslingers.

That would mean, If I trade my 94 attack lvl 80 gun, for a lvl 90 gun, I would have to add 10 STR, which would mean I lose points from adding it into DEX, which would conclude to me using 10 DEX= 2 Weapon Attack.

If I lose 2 Weapon attack, the level 90 gun should be at least 2 Weapon Attack better then the level 80 gun, to give me the same Attack Range.

So, If,
1 Weapon Attack = 5 DEX
10 Dex = 2 Weapon Attack

Which means
Lvl 80 Gun 94 Attack= Lvl 90 Gun 96 Attack= Lvl 100 Gun 98 Attack= Lvl 110 Gun 100 Attack.

Yea pretty much, generally, just treat 5 stat = 1 weapon attack. It's pretty close for a long time. Not until you get to near end game, 17x+, that's when it's around 1.5 or less weapon attack = 10 stat

Corsairs, in solo grind, would you rather do middle platform snipe the 2 newties with cannon and don't get hit) or waste pots and do bottom in solo?

Imo bottom is faster exp than middle, but idk what really is better :o

I think the best weapon to stop at is the Concerto. Guns are cheap; I've seen clean 76's (2 above) for around 15m, and that's in the upper range. You would need about 98 att to beat your 94 IW until end game, when a 97 att would beat it.

Simplest approximation for determining DEX/ATT ratio:

Divide your total DEX by your total ATT (include the ATT pot you'll be training with)

For example, I have 454 DEX. My gun has 84 ATT, my cape add 3, my gloves add 11, and my bullets add 16. I use a Warrior Elixir when I'm training, which adds 12. That totals to 126 ATT.

454/126 = ~3.6. So at level 89 for my Outlaw, 3.6 DEX = 1 ATT. It's actually probably closer to 3.8 because of STR, but that's a minor difference.

I'm playing 99% of the day solo and well, the problem with standing in between the newties is that I got a huge regional lag and auto pot pretty much sucks, so I'd die rather fast :x

I guess you could snipe the first 2 from the platform, they respawn at a pretty fast rate.

100+ Gun is easily end game. The lower the str cap on the weapon the better i suppose.

Get excited for iTCG though, and don't do anything that drastic. New pirate gear!

Heh, forgot about the description. As for the monster thing, I meant a la puppet's way of attracting attention off of you. Also, I'd really like someone to test that.
