RED micro-site now out!
Arrol Wrote:Finally, A new set with Two-Handed weapons not weaker than their Warrior counterparts.

A slower speed generally means a much weaker weapon even if the attack value is higher, unless you hit the speed cap. Then again, green monster park extreme pots lets you break the normal cap.

Yes. They have the NPC and the books' price are still fixed at 7m and 15m respectively.

Does they can change older skill books to new one?

In KMS, is the old Skillbook trade for new ones a RED event, or permanent?

Tigeon Wrote:But isnt the free job system only for explorers? What about all the nova, sengoku, cygnus, etc classes people play?

But they don't have branching job paths. What would they even swap to?

Takebacker Wrote:The fact that the highest level and most powerful (?) set is available on however many classes available to you in the free job system whereas previously it would only be useable on whatever job you have it on, or only useable on whatever job you pay $4 per equip to move it to (in fafnir's/empresses case).

If untradeability is unattractive because you wanted to use it on multiple characters, then that argument is kind of lessened because you can BE more than one character anyway.

You can't change classes though, only jobs. You can't go from mage to warrior to thief to bowman to pirate.

Yes let's explain the system to the person bringing it up.

The point was it lessens the problem not solves it. I even said lessened instead of solved.

You bring up an interesting point about why free job wouldn't work for any branch other than adventurer, though. I think it's better to be adventurer exclusive anyway since it gives them leverage over maining stronger sets of classes.

Is it just me, or is the RED teaser site a bit whonky right now? The buttons on the bottom disappeared and it no longer says "coming soon" next to each update for me. :f6:

I can still see the buttons on the bottom, but no "Coming Soon" text next to each update Tongue

The only non-explorer that the job switch could work with is Demon, and I don't see it happening.

not going to say "that's OP" since you'd be at full HP most of the time, i actually don't think these rings would significantly increase DPS. (unless the boss was spamming 1/1's like no tomorrow)

Holy fu-

That level 160 Fan SHALL be mine.

Also they just showed stats from an Empress Bow transferring to a Dual Bow Gun. That is either Nexon fucking up, or it shows that the weapon being transferred doesn't matter.

I was announced to be available but in-game it was never implemented or was revoked after a few days, because it's easily abused to have so many useless mastery books in mules to be turned into 20/30 books for everything. "who knows that gms does"

Uh I'm just wondering but at 0:27 was it transfering the stats of a bow to an xbow?

Were the Mastery Books tradable after exchange? That would be the abusable aspect, I reckon if they were tradable no one would ever have to buy the NPC ones, based on the number of "junk" MBs floating in any one or combination of servers. If they are untradable, I don't find it being that big of a deal.

Also, would you happen to know if trade-ins are limited per character? I know in the past, during one of the three-thousand BaM revamps one of the books was only tradable once per character.

Even if they weren't tradeable, what's stopping you from trading the old mastery books to any character you wanted the new mastery books on?
