From around 450 usd because console/games are inflated as hell over here, to like 320 usd. Plus walmart gives you an around 120 usd coupon to buy there.

Polantaris, you weren't kidding when you said 3d world was easy. Finished world 2 and I think I've managed to lose my catsuit/fire flower (going from catsuit to regular super Toad) once, forget about actually dying.
And is it just me, or are the characters really slow compared to galaxy 1/2, even toad who is supposed to be the "speed" character?

The "build momentum" system is honestly kinda annoying. Not sure what other Mario games it has been in but I don't remember it being like this in Galaxy 1/2, or NSMBW. It makes running at full speed take FOREVER, and I think the only advantage Toad has is that his is faster, but don't quote me on that. If true, then that would explain why he doesn't feel all that fast. The Catsuit has increased speed though, maybe it makes everyone go the same speed which would explain it as well. Not completely sure since I played most of the game with Toad exclusively (I like his cat suit, it weirdly fits him, at least in my opinion).
I also hate how stopping for half a second can completely screw up critical jumps even if you go back into a run before you jump. Most of my deaths aren't from the map design or difficulty, but from the Momentum System killing me by forcing a terrible jump that wouldn't have happened in other Mario games.
The game got slightly harder as it went on, although for the most part the challenge is in finding some of the stamps, which are uniquely hidden in some situations. Although, that doesn't always happen either and sometimes the stamps are in the most ridiculous and easy to find places (sometimes as easy as being directly in your path with no puzzle to getting it).
Overall the game has some annoying parts, but it succeeds in what it's supposed to do - be fun. Can't say that for a lot releases sadly. I wish it was longer, and would have suggested a lower starting cost, but that's what console games cost now-a-days, so I can't really argue the $60 pricetag all that much.

Actually, I don't think the catsuit makes you go faster at all :/. I know for sure it definitely doesn't raise the top speed of anybody- my normal toad still outsped my friend's cat mario, and cat peach was still slow as f`uck. I might be wrong, but I just think it might be an appearance thing. Being on all fours might make it look like you're going faster.

It may just increase the speed you get momentum, I'd have to pay attention more closely to determine it myself.

So on tonight's VGX that nobody is going to take seriously, Reggie is going to show off an exclusively new Wii U game on the first hour. Ooooh.
EDIT: So that reveal... was Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Yeaaaaaaah, not too excited about it.

Sonic Lost World Patch
Quote:Today, we are pleased to announce that a new patch for the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World will go live soon, and will be available for free download!
This patch adds a number of improvements and changes. Please find the full list of updates below:
Gameplay Updates:
Collecting 100 rings will now grant the player an extra life.
In the event of a Game Over, we have doubled the amount of lives the player will begin with when continuing. (From 5 to 10)
The Indigo Asteroid, Crimson Eagle, Orange Rocket, and Black Bomb Color Powers can now be controlled using the analog stick and buttons.
Fixed a rare graphical issue that would sometimes appear during the pinball section of the Frozen Factory casino area.
Additional Updates:
When completing the NiGHTMARE DLC, users will be notified that they can re-play it after scoring 100,000 points.
Items will now appear on the world map.
We hope you all enjoy the new updates to the game. As always, thank you for your feedback!

Well, at least lost world is slightly less terrible now.
Now if they could fix the terrible homing attack and jumping physics, it might actually be playable. Not that any changes they make would ever make me put the game disc in my U again.

That 100 ring shouldn't even be an issue in the first place
Analog+buttons for colors' powers is great. Developers need to make motion/touch controls optional and not shove them down the players' throats.

The yoshis island stage took me less time to complete than they spent showing it off in the direct.

That or it's supposed to look like the upcoming Yarn Yoshi game. I wouldn't be surprised if some of t hose textures are stolen straight from it.
Either way, it's still not a Yoshi's Island stage :/

It has tons of Yoshi stuff AND a spinning wheel-thing at the end -- what more do you want?!!?!

A correct title and more than a single 2 minute long stage if they're going to give it time in a Nintendo direct.
I spent longer just downloading it and starting the game than I did actually playing it.

It looks alright. I'll wait and see.
Lest we forget, Tecmo-Koeis the ones who own team ninja, who were responsible for the travesty that was Metroid Other M. I'm not basing anything out of this publisher on looks alone.
