this has to be a bug. there's no way this is intentional

This is pretty cool, though I was hoping this was a way to skip the prequests.

Neat, I had the map just before the Labyrinth saved since that seemed like the closest map to Gollux, but this is much easier. Thanks Big Grin

More like an oversight on Nexon's part.

It works because Root Abyss portal only remembers where you portal'd from. Hyper Tele bypasses the exit return, and when you re-Hyper Tele back inside, Root Abyss still only remembers where you took its portal from. This will probably work with family tele too. It's more akin to an exploit of the coding, than any type of bug/glitch.

Quote:bug glitch - A software bug is an error, flaw, failure, or fault in a computer program or system that produces an incorrect or unexpected result, or causes it to behave in unintended ways.

Root Abyss functions exactly as intended. As does Hyper Tele Rock

The bug is that you're able to use the Root Abyss icon from that map.
Normally, maps you can't tele to also disable that icon. (Simple example: The maps between The Passage and The Door to Zakum).

Root Abyss is closed, but you can now just save the Gollux map on your Hyper Rock anyway:

Does this mean I can skip those horrid mini-games? Do those constitute the Gollux Labyrinth?

No.
The mini-games are a long way before the labyrinth.

Still no way to get in without a key, and the only way to get keys is from finishing the questline.

Sorry, was asleep xD but yeah you can skip them, but you can't actually do anything without completing the full quest chain anyway, since the only way to get keys to enter Gollux is by having entered at least once with the keys from a quest, which you don't get until you finish the chain.
