New champion - Yasuo
#21
Derosis Wrote:Most people forget that champions like Renekton are bruisers

To be fair there's very little difference between Bruisers and Tanks atm with current season 3 itemization and masteries. They all have damage output that can't be ignored and they all take pineappleing forever to kill.

Probably one of the best things about the upcoming mastery sets is that it will make the difference much more obvious.

As for Yasuo, IMO his lore screams assassin with a samurai motive.

Bruisers build some* damage, tanks do not build anything but hp/utility/defensive items.

There is a lot of difference in the two. They build similarly, but def not the same.

Yay, another Asian-influenced swordsman. Would be a huge plot twist if he was support oriented though.

I had to change my pants like three times while reading his skill set. Shine

Latest PBE update adds Yasuo.

I was half right.
They made him a mid..

I'm sorry, what?

>Samurai
>Yasuo

Meanwhile DoTA 2 has Yurnero the Juggernaut, who is pretty much a tribal Samurai. Riot, what the hell. I'm well aware the skillsets and appearances are different, but still. Why can't he be named something not starting with the letter "Y" so it doesn't seem like Riot made their new samurai champion loosely based off of a DoTA hero.

Melee ADC, hard pass.

He looks much more like Mitsurugi from soulv caliber.
 Spoiler

Honestly it looks like he was meant to be a generic looking samurai with his aesthetics. Dat hair. Also with him and his brother or whatever his sibling's name being Yasuo and Yone, I thinking they were trying for a yin and yang thing, and also making that influence the name

People saying he's gonna be OP

I could care less if he's op or not, though. I just *cannot stand* the sound effect on his E/dash. My ears just cannot. ;_;
#32
He is OP... really... like wtp

Before I had thought aswell about a support skill that could shield projectiles and maybe ultis from others, but I had thought that for it to be fair it would have to last a second or even less OR have a big cooldown, maybe a support's ulti. But this? worst part is it seems to only have 20 seconds cooldown and last longer than MissFortune and Lucian's ultis. Definitely a way to screw over adcs at bot and half or more midlane mages.

I hope it takes longer than freaking Lucian to come out.

Dear god is he tough to learn.
But cool thing about his wild west skin; GUNBLADE.
#34
Played one game with him and he is so strong its dumb
#35
He's either strong and annihilates everyone who even dares breathing

Or he's super weak and behind, and can't do shet
Most of the time it's the annihilation part

I don't usually call champs op, but I really think this champ is op, lol. Especially with the right team comp. A team with like yasuo, wukong and or malphite will destroy everyone
I guess any champ that has anything to do with wind will be op.

>Riven
>Yasuo
>Janna (dat win rate)

It'll take more time than most champs to master, similar to zed, except a bit tougher imo.

I thought Janna had a low win rate ever since her passive got nerfed.

I've seen off tank builds of Yasuo that makes him relevant through all stages of the game. Sort of like Tankgar.
