 Bravely Default Deluxe Edition

The more 3DS news I see, the more I absolutely loathe Nintendo for making the 3DS Region Locked.

Not only is the game not even coming to the Us for an extra month at the very least, but I highly doubt there will be a deluxe edition. If there is, it won't be that nice.
I'd just get the EU version but oh wait.

Well holy freaking , that was some Nintendo Direct.

Granted, nothing too new in terms of titles... but they really know how to pull in people with Wii U and 3DS firmware updates for YouTube and eShop balances, the addition of Rosalina for Super Mario 3D Land, and showcasing some really interesting indie titles.

Also, I want D: @ Bravely Default. The game looks sooooooooooo awesome.

NA Deluxe edition does not come with a figure sadly.

I've been really looking forward to Bravely Default. I need more RPGs for my 3DS, for sure.

It was originally going to be Final Fantasy : 4 warriors of light 2 (very early in development), so yeah.

If you've played the demo (did NA get the demo too? Europe did, but we're getting the game earlier ), it doesn't try to hide that it's a final fantasy game in all but name at all.

That means the funds I added on the Wii U will be on the 3DS, meaning that I can get the VC games on the 3DS like Oracle of Ages/Seasons and Wario Land 3. Didn't expect Rosalina to be on Super Mario 3D World.

Well, I do like some adventuring and action, but I like to try out the obscure at times.

I already got Monster Hunter on Wii U.

The Bravely Default demo is the best demo ever. More things to do than in some recent AAA releases. Definitely buying it now.

Sticker Star is far from a bad game, it just isn't a decent Paper Mario game. If they haven't invested enough into past titles then they won't care about the changes they made to Sticker Star.

Well, pomegranate, yeah, but that's true of everything. Superman 64 isn't bad unless you compare it to ...literally anything else. (Hooray, hyperbole)

It's quite possibly the worst RPG I've ever played (albeit I do avoid most of the bad ones by choice. If only I could have avoided sticker star). It also doesn't matter whether they've played the previous games or not, because it's certainly the worst retail RPG on 3DS that I can think of. And not to get too anecdotal here, but I know people who've not played any of hte paper mario games before, and they hated it too (as rpg fans).

The entire battle system is absolute shi't. How no-one called them out during development on the fact that they managed to ruin an almost perfect system they had from Thousand year door is beyond me. Oh right, because miyamoto said so, the same reason they threw out all the funny characters and plot from previous games too.


There are far, far too many good games on 3DS to recommend a mediocre title like paper mario.

Sticker Star was absolutely adorable but I found the puzzles nearly impossible to figure out. That game must have broken my record of how often I'd used google to figure things out, ha. But yeah, I've never played any other Paper Mario game (plus that was my first Mario game in general if you exclude old ones I'd played when I was 4).
