Afaik KMS were given a bunch of free shielding wards when MEE events were running, so the high lvls probably just bought them from sellers, tradeable version of them exist.

If this would come to GMS or EMS, yes it would be a huge cash grab (not so much in EMS, since people know very well why).

They didn't get free shielding wards.

IIRC MEEs didn't boom.

I'm prob wrong though.

They do.

Additionally, the initial event notice stated that if you used MEEs from 2 to 4 PM server time, you would have twice the success rate, essentially making the first three stars free. I'm not sure if that was actually ever the case though, and it was changed to a +20% success rate.

And? Still a hell a lot better than the amount of NX you could spend on getting most of your equips near perfect through cubing, while with MEE's you really only have to do you weapon.

I'm sorry but please stop posting. MEEs are 1000x worse than potential ever was. There is a very good reason they never left KMS, and it sure as f'uck wasn't because it was fair for unfunded players or even players like me.

I did the survey yesterday.

Really can't wait to see how they dodge some of these. They can't say yes because it wouldn't go with their business plan to let us actually play for free, and they can't outright say no because it'll bury their reputation.

I'm surprised Jett is only at 2.8. About as low as stupid questions like making the game unhackable. It's not one of the big problems but surely people can't be happy with how that class is.

JETT needs a strong revamp, but it's likely to not to have it Frown

The issue is the whole "The rich get richer while the poor get poorer."

It isn't easily accessible to the unfunded. It's like ~12 flippin' bucks per. I doubt the general populace could even get these to touch their weapons, if at all. And the ones who actually can afford these monstrous scrolls clearly won't settle for "you really only have to do your weapon." The unfunded population just completely falls off (even more than they already have).

For comparison, a completely clean Tyrant added like ~6K range for me if I remember right. After I 7 starred it and left it uncubed, it added about 12K.

It's like having Tyrant everything head-to-toe so yeah, it really is that bad.

No MEEs should be used on every equip due to the fact that they make EVERY equip like a superior one

MetaSeraphim; has a point. It's easily accessible, given the terms of the event from which they originated in kMS, because you get a bunch. You get like, 20 just for logging in during the event, and I'm probably remembering incorrectly, but I remember doing it on multiple characters on the same account as well. Not only that, but you could get 1 for 10 Winter/Unleashed Coins, 3 for 25. It's not free if you're actually aiming on like, 12 staring your stuff, but it's not really necessary to use shielding wards in conjunction with MEEs.

My point is, given the amount you get, an unfunded player could easily just spam them on whatever equips they can get from drops without caring if they boom or not. Let's take a level 110 equip, some random equip they happen to have found in MPE or something. The first star is +9 to whatever stats you have on it at a 60% rate. That's better than pretty much any other scroll we have now, not that there's really any need to compare given that they don't take slots, nor do they require you to use up all the slots on an equip beforehand, so it's not like you're risking a really good scrolled equip or anything. Basically, it's a large stat boost at pretty much no cost at all. They can continue to land more stars, again, without protecting it, for greater stat boosts every time, and if it booms, so what? It was just some random 110 equip, they can easily get more.

I'm not in support of us getting MEEs or anything, but it's not nearly as bad for the unfunded as you guys seem to make it out to be. It WILL help them get stronger, because come on, they're not completely useless to unfunded players and you shouldn't act like they are, but it definitely WON'T allow them to be competitive, in fact, it's pretty much a hindrance on that front, and their existence in the game would only serve to severely widen the gap between the funded and unfunded, given the massive differences in both the amount of MEEs and the equips available for one to use, maybe like, 5 stars if they get really lucky on some random 110/120 equip, vs. 12 stars on a 150 equip.

Yep, this was the angle I spun my post from.

I didn't realize it was that easy with that event so that's good to hear but I'm concerned what happens after the event goes away. :|

The ones from the event are mostly (all?) time-limited, but I've seen a few permanent ones, and as far as I know people are still scrolling their stuff with MEEs... somehow, they're untradeable, so it's like a service thing, not really sure where they come from, if they can still be obtained, though in the past I believed they came from gacha boxes.

I don't think you really have to be concerned about MEEs, I'm pretty sure we're not getting them, they were a terrible idea, plus they're not even on the list for this 'A Better Maple' thing.

Nothing about removing the drop reduction based on level, as a legit player my gameplay options have been restricted because someone else decided it was ok to cheat and hack, i much rather find my own recipes and items instead of having to spend my already small bag of mesos trying to get it from others.

I'm going to say a few of you called it early and KNOW we are being set up for another nexon'd seeing as how they do this all the time, whatever supposed fixes they plan or issues they claim will be addressed have already been done and this poll is nothing but a way to please the players by making them think they actually listen to us.

"Why'd you shorten the transit time between regions? People used to hang out and chat on the ship between Victoria Island and Orbis."

This seems like the worst one to me, mostly because last I checked, you could still use the ship, it's just very slow and inefficient if you're trying to move quickly.

I'm more surprised NexonNA didn't bring MEEs over to GMS considering how much they love that money. [/tinfoilhat]

It's just a detail that appears in all the nostalgia threads. "Once we had a lot of socializing because you had to PQ and you had to sit on the boat forever and etc." You can still go on the boat but you'll be alone on it even in ch 1, so the social aspect is gone.
Can't say I miss that part of it. Then again, I used to take the boat on any channel but 1, because I'm a-social like that.

The problem is...even if you are crazy enough to decide to ride the ship instead of instantly warping to your destination from pantheon, no one else will.
They just need to make pantheon's dimensional portal only go to six path crossway. Same thing with Veritas and Aquarium.
That doesn't exactly fix the whole plane thing but it's a start.

Maybe they can offer incentives in a way similar to the part time job thing.

You get -1 point per scroll pass for every 10 levels below 150 the equipment is. +5 stats for a 110 equip on the first scroll i think, with a 40% boom rate. Certainly does sound like "better than every other scroll" to me. o.o MEEs are trash for 139- equips. One more reason the unfunded get r'aped.

I find it amazing if I even run into someone using the planes at the same time as me.
