Episode 13: Forever Fall

Yay, Jaune's standing up for himself!

I loved Ruby's little "nope"s, so adorable.

Audio was a bit off more than usual in this episode, kind of bugged me (like when Jaune dropped the jars onto the floor).

Next episode should be exciting.

On a different note, how does one gather up a bag/box of wasps, anyway...

Forever Fall: Pt. 2

Completely forgot about RWBY this week, haha.

I always forget about RWBY until someone posts in this topic cause I'm raiding in WoW at the time of release

I think it's just her way of describing her magnetic powers, with which she moved Jaune's shield during his battle with the ursa. It's a "Semblance" apparently, which, I guess, is a category of special abilities, which Ruby's speed and Weiss's glyphs also fall under, according to Pyrrha.

That was a brutal beheading. Also, Juane gets a black eye from a punch, but neither of them get visibly hurt by being knocked around by an ursa?

Oh ok, I did not know Season 1 was split. The wording made it seem like it was the season finale lol.

Nods towards more exposition in the next two episodes
Melanie and Miltiades Malachite from the "Yellow" trailer are going to make a reappearance (no clue when)
Blake is not a lesbian (lololololol), BUT SHE COULD BE, but "Bumblebee" (Blake/Yang shipping) is not canon
Trailers are not necessarily in chronological order, but are canon
King Taijitu (the snake that Ren killed in Episode 6) was actually just one snake, attached at the middle
Everyone has aura and a unique semblance
Yang's red eyes (when she fought Junior and the Ursas in the forest) are a by-product of her semblance

RWBY IS NOT ANIME (I didn't really care, but that settles that), it's anime-inspired

Episode 15: The Stray

I found the Combat Skirt thing hilarious. I think Penny is some kind of telepathic robot. Weiss kinda rubbed me the wrong way early on in the episode, what with her racism, but I can understand why she feels the way she does after her outburst. And Blake is a Faunus, which I think was speculated on early on, and prior to the actual reveal, I thought Monkey Boy's wink at her was related to being a Faunus, rather than being flirty, but it was probably both. Such drama, though. It's kinda cheesy, but I hope Blake changes Weiss's opinion of Faunus and they'll make up and live happily ever after. On another note, I kinda want to see what happened with Jaune after last episode.

Loved this episode. Cannot wait for next week.

More backstory for Blake, pleeeeease. After everyone expecting for her to be a faunus, I almost thought they were going to go in the other direction, Blake just being a human and faunus-supporter/sympathizer.

Weiss's backstory was cool too. Seemed like she referenced the "Black" trailer, what with the traincar filled with dust being stolen. I wonder if Adam will also be included, when Blake tells Sun Wukong about herself.

IMO, if it's a trope, it'll be followed.
Glad they're using info from the trailers in the storyline, if even just a little bit. Hell, maybe even delve into how Weiss got that scar? Or maybe have a blast from the past appear during the tournament and throw the monkeywrench into the cogs that is teenage life?

Oh dear god the plot threads. All of them, just hanging there. Feel like a kitten with string before it; just wanna play with them ALL.

The soundtrack is probably the best part about RWBY.

Ironic how the lyrics to the song have such a connection to the characters the they're for.
