Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

I'm sitting on a shiny Bisharp, don't really want to use him though.... and he is japanese lol

He keeps offering me said Drifblim, but I keep refusing. Apparently the Spearow came from my Safari as well. Pumpkaboo is slowly starting to take my heart as well (I'm a HUGE fan of ghost pokemon). I may try and breed a couple good natures and such. Is there a trick to your breeding for a shiny? Or just extreme luck? Otherwise that's a whole lot of eggs...Isn't it 1 in like 8,000?

I could be wrong but breeding a foreign poke with your own knocks the rate down by like 2/3s to somewhere around 1/2000-ish.

Correct, it's known as the Masuda Method. breeding with a foreign pokemon increases the chances of finding a shiny pokemon by 6, or something like that.

Also if you are planning on breeding a Pumpkaboo, you should know that it's different sizes have different stats, and that Pumpkaboo's born from a certain sized Pumpkaboo will always be that size.
also, Pumpkaboo in Friend Safari are always of Average Size.

I actually ran into a horde of Poliwags and caught one with swift swim without a Poliwhirl ^^.
While in the horde battle, they cast/spam rain dance themselves, so you can pay close attention to which Poliwag outspeeds the other after using it.

Anyway, I haven't bothered going pass the 8th gym yet because I'm too busy breeding Zorua and Zoroarks xP.
Trying to get the good IVs and maybe even egg moves (probably only just sucker punch) for it.

Hydreigons... Hydreigons everywhere in the outside areas of Victory Road! One almost wiped me out when I tried catching it.

For anyone hatching eggs:
after hours and hours of looking at the same stretch of road hatching eggs, I've only just noticed that there is a single long stretch of alternately-patterned tiles going all the way down the middle of the road. If you follow it, you will never be interrupted by accidently hitting the bushes in Camphrier town, or the sign at the end near the zubat cave.

So if you need to leave the straight line to pick up an egg from the daycare man, you can easily realign yourself back into position by going back onto this line.

Does anyone have Clefairy/Clefable, Pineco/Forretress (both of these normal abilities), and or a Slowpoke/Slowbro with it's Hidden Ability?

Edit: Found a nigh perfect Ditto for my Sylveon.

Well I finally beat the Pokemon League. I pretty much overpowered my way through because I did a lot of leveling/EV/IV breeding before then. I know it took some of the challenge out, but I had fun. Though the challenge to me was breeding the right stuff o-o.
But anyway, team was:
Lv68 Zoroark
Lv89 Dragalge
Lv86 Talonflame
Lv89 Delphox
Lv81 Gardevoir
Lv81 Breloom

I bred a Timid Zoroark with 31 IV into Sp. Att and Speed, and the other stats are above average. The Breloom from before, is a powerhouse with technician. Bullet seed one shotted everything not resisting it, including going through stuff with sturdy of course. I also played and tested the AI around so I kept Zoroark in the front and Breloom or Delphox in the last slot. The AI is still a bit off, that one of the NPCs kept using Zen Headbutt despite it not working.

Stupid question, so I'm in the process of EV training a Trubbish. Sort of. EV/IV whatever. I bred the one that I wanted, got the correct stats and IV and everything, and then I went through the super training and maxed out two of the base stats.

My question is...Now what? Level it like normal? Or do I need to do the whole "Go find a Pokemon and beat it over and over and over"? I'm relatively new to the whole EV/IV/Competitive side...Sooooyeah thanks.

Once you've maxed out your EVs (510 total), you can go train on whatever you want.
