What was the source on that? The fact that it's RED and it being used for Black Friday doesn't really come together to me.

They're used to obtain a fancy face mask. I can't see the stats from the chat window, though 
150 fragments nets you a perm mask.

I got a medal too from those quests but it's not the same as the one from the event tab.

RED tickets are used to trade in for Black Friday coins.
If you read the description, it says "3 will get you 30, 4 to 6 will get you 50, 7 to 9 will get you 80, 10 will get you 100."
First number = number of tickets, second number = number of coins. No clue how you trade them in, but save them until near the end of the event so you can get the most out of them.
At least this is what I overheard [MENTION=9167]Reddish[/MENTION]; saying in bl the other day. Either way, it's still worth holding onto them until you have 10.

I'm pretty sure that the Red tickets are actually for the RED coins. In the description for the Hot Time box, it says:
"Remember to collect the RED tickets you find in these gifts to get more coins in the next patch!"

The one in the Event Tab is a Halloweenster medal with just 8 atk/m.atk.
