Anyone notice the horrible changes in the Censor?

So the following character combos are now censored (found so far) -

ngr
hos
event
gland
shyt
shiit
tit
ass
gm
meth

I am getting censored in almost every sentence for normal conversation. These are now on the 'censor all the time' list, meaning they are censored as parts of words.

Obviously GM and Event are there in an effort to cover imposters. But, really? This is ridiculous. I can;t say a single sentence without hitting a censored word.

"Have you guys heard about the new *****? Its rewards are awesome!"

I don't know why it took them this long to censor it, tbh.

I think "tit" was on there before, but then removed because it appears far too commonly in english, like if you were to say "hit it".

The alternate spellings of a certain four letter S-word are fine though. You shouldn't ever accidentally type any of those, so people who are using those terms are simply trying to bypass and swear when they shouldn't.

They were basically asked to either improve the censoring algorithm or let people opt out (at the receiving end, obviously). Nexon's response: make even more normal words impossible to use. Sheeesh...

Well the choice is obvious. Throw a bunch of words in a document, or code in a way for people to opt out.

I feel so dirty reading that list, and I only got to the F's. Oh god.

Haha wow. I've tried swearing in Korean before and that's long been censored. Didn't know they're extending their languages.

I don't know what's worse: that MS has no opt out for censors or that a lot of younger teens today already know all the cuss words under the sun

I can't even say the name of a boss in this game.

Out of curiosity, couldn't a number of those words be eliminated due to redundancy? Like, say the words "chap" and "stick" were both offensive and banned. Why does there need to be separate entry for chapstick? Wouldn't that already be blanked?

This happened in Lunaria Story by R2 Games like 5 months ago, but I believe it's fixed now. Blatant censorships.
