[SPOILERS] X and Y pre-release Leaks and Rumours thread

No, it was along the lines that they would never do an early release/leak. My local Gamestop doesnt open till 10 am, the closest one that is doing a midnight release is 40min-1hour away. Oh, and they wont give me the poster because i preordered it too early (before they gave away the posters, and they wont give me one now).

That's odd, I preordered both of my games months before word of the posters got out and it wasn't until a month after that announcement that the GameStop closest to me started giving out posters. I showed them my receipt and received my poster with no problem.

Edit: Good thing there's no school on Friday, so I can tell Mom that I'll be staying at my cousin's. Gunna sneak out of her house for the midnight release since she lives closer to the GameStop downtown. Hopefully her parents won't lock the door before I get back.

Sorta XY related I suppose. I wonder what it could be:

Tsunekazu Ishihara (the president of the Pokémon Company) will appear on Japanese TV on October 28th. The synopsis of the interview mentions an unprecedented game whose development started this summer. The game is said to change Pikachu, and Ishihara is worried about how the change will affect Pikachu's popularity. More details should be revealed via the interview.

Japanese fans are speculating that said change may be Mega Pikachu. This is certainly a possibility, even though Mega Evolution is generally reserved for fully evolved Pokémon. It is also possible that the game in question will be compatible with XY, and thus Pikachu's change could be carried over to these games.

 Maybe it has something to do with this picture?

utuber's videos were originally music recreations. He did one for trainer battle, gym trainer battle, and rival battle. The one he did for gym trainer's actually pretty accurate.

Unless maybe they give Pikachu a split-evolution. If that's the case, then it means new pokemon can be added to the game Post-release.

Or, it's possible that DLC can enable new Pokemon maybe not in the game even maybe. We'll have to see. If Nintendo can ever roll something like that out, it would be pretty awesome.

Holy crap, I didn't even notice how many bug types were in this region. There are 12 different Bug FAMILIES in the central dex alone, and around 20 overall in the entire Kalos Dex, that's a lot of bug types.
