One Piece thread (Spoilers)
At least we know what his power is now. That's really the only thing i'm taking away from this battle.

Lozmaster Wrote:What? That couldn't have been any more of a stomp fest if this was a badly written fanfic.

Doflamingo took no damage from either of sanjis attacks, despite sanji skipping straight to his strongest attacks (i.e. Diablo Jambe), and sanji, despite supposedly being predictive haki specialist out of sanji/zoro/luffy, couldn't see any of Doflamingos attacks coming.

He took a hit and was locked by an ability rather than punched once right out of the sky, that's what I would consider a stromp

Being punched out of the sky would have been preferable, as, you know, that wouldn't have ended up with him dead (if law hadn't intervened)

He got beat, we all saw it coming, but his eyes didn't white out from being slashed, which at that point I would consider a stomp

He was about to be bisected before law stepped in, and couldn't move at all. How much worse could it possible have been?

Look at luffy vs Ceaser, Luffy and the entire crew lost because they oxygen got sucked out of them, it's not much different than Sanji being trapped in Doffy's web. He lost, and he was weaker than donflamingo, but, for example, he wasn't cut into 5 pieces upon the initial strike.

That's my perspective of that fight though

Maaaaaan Oda is going places! Twist after twist, I hardly can keep up with this guy. I start to feel like Oda would not be able to finish One Piece before 1500+....

With the incredibly huge amount of characters he keeps introducing, he definetely needs to kill/send away some of them if he EVER wants to finish it Rolleyes He introduces new characters almost every chapter.

He just introduced a few more, and killed (or so it SEEMS) one off. He never kills anyone..save for the bandit waaay back which shanks his mate shot (the meat eating guy)

Manly tears were shed from that last page.

I'm not surprised that law was clearly still alive. (Else he would have just left the body). The only time an important character has died in one piece, it was included in the chapter title.

And did zoro just counter attack an admiral.

The gap between Zoro and Sanji now is ridiculous.

To be fair to Sanji, He did counter attack on Doffy for a little bit before retreating.

Just... so many things happening in this arc .___. At least now it's "Autobots! ROLL OUT!" time.

Sanji has done so much more for the story so far though, zoro sort of stumbles upon things since his navigation is terrible. I guess we just need to see what sanji does to big mom.

Sanji is no better, his plan this arc after they separated was :Chase after zoro, then when he lost him, it became "Oh hey, a pretty lady!".

Presumably they're going to fire a coup de burst right at big moms ship then escape, because (especially without franky) the ship doesn't actually have much in the way of defenses.

Besides, if Big Mom is actually there, no way does Sanji stand a chance when he's already been shown to be weaker than Vergo (A marine vice admiral) and Doflamingo

She hunted him out though and then after that he managed to save the ship (and momo i guess) from doffy. Now he's going to go f'uck with a yonkou. Might not be as cool as countering an admiral but at least it's an active role.

I don't really expect much from him vs big mom either though. If he plows through them then the yonkou aren't as insane as they've been hyped to be, and if that doesn't happen the only other options are he keeps them at bay while the ship escapes or he gets wreaked and given that they have got to have some pretty crazy devil powers neither of those two options sound like it would work out well for sanji.

Sanji is going to stay and cook for her. I have a feeling she's the mother or related to Lola, which the viva card will probably reflect in the next upcoming chapters
