Woke up to a "prank" phone call from someone that goes to my old school. It was weird because I've never talked to him in my life yet somehow he managed to get my number.
"Yo it's Tyrone, do you have the toothpaste?"
"You didn't block your number (insert his actual name here)"
"Oh pomegranate"
then he hung up

I WILL PUNCH YOU IN THE NADS.

Im assuming you have quite hours?

Call the RA on duty, or your RA, or their RA. It depends on how the system is setup there.

On a personal note. I have a girlfriend.

I've been at university for a week and 2 days and I already feel 100 times more settled in than I did after 3 months at university in Bristol. Every single person I've talked to has been incredibly pleasant and interesting, my classes have all been really good (granted I haven't really had many, first week was mostly induction stuff) and the commute isn't too bad (5 minutes on the bus, then ~40 minutes on the train, then 15 minute walk).

I feel like I've changed a lot too. 2 weeks ago I was the kind of person who would sit in the corner of a class and not say a word throughout the entire thing, and then leave immediately, but now I'm the guy that introduces himself to people, is actually capable of holding some sort degree of conversation (gasp), and will speak up if I feel like I have something to say. I've noticed a lot of students that reminded me of how I was 2 years ago when I 'attempted' university for the first time too, and I've made it a personal goal to try and talk to them and make sure they're doing okay, because no one did that for me when I was in their shoes. I know it'll make a difference and it feels good.

Big Grin
Also I'm nearly at 3k subscribers on YouTube what when did that happen (AND I GET PAID FOR IT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 2 WEEKS SO EXCITED GONNA GET LIKE $10)

Checked dates of testing to take my DAT. Everything's very available. Finally charted out a 3 week plan.
Banking on my love of crossing things out as the day goes on to kick in.

And I found out yesterday that I'm apparently really bad at figuring out if order matters or not in permutations and combinations math problems.

You know your lab group sucks when your lab group spends 50 minutes (taking up the majority of my lunch) to do a lab where it's just measuring the mass of metal pieces and volume water + metal pieces.

I fell asleep at 9pm and woke up at 1 am. I was trying to force myself to sleep for about 4 hours. Kind of dozing off for 20 minutes, then I get into about a deep sleep about 4am when I hear this creepy sound, like somone was typing on my keyboard, but I was too tired to verify it and thought I was hearing things. So then I started having nightmares of this ghost sleeping next to me just smiling like "HEY WHAT UP READY TO PLAY", and i just had the jitters for the rest of the night.

Look this morning my phone vibrated off my desk onto my keyboard and continued from some call from my friend. So it made it sound like it was gently typing.

...That's the logical way of going about this, the truth is my computer is clearly f`ucking haunted and I have stabed crosses all over my desk.

So the 18 credits I need to take next semester are only offered from Mon-Th

Only one class on Mondays.

Tuesday and Thursday's, however, start at 8:45 and end at 5:35. Only 5hr20 of classes in there, though. Wednesdays have advanced lab so there is ~4hr30 of class on Wednesdays.

And I'm going to try knocking off a gen ed requirement over winter break.

I CAN STILL DO THIS IN THREE YEARS.

Today was the day I received the call that I have been dreading since the end of August.

It was my best friend. Her mother had passed away. A woman I had known for 15 years, since I was 6 years old, is gone. It was absolutely heartbreaking to hear her say the words. We were both so overwhelmed that we just said I love you to each other and she hung up to go be with her family as they were still at the hospital.

Her mother had been battling cancer for over a decade. Things had taken a turn for the worse when she had to be sent to ICU this past August.

It's just so unfair. She was like a second mother to me. She was such a caring person who loved her family so unconditionally. She deserved to live a long and happy life. Her first grandchild is due soon and she won't get to meet her.

I'm so devastated right now. I can't even imagine what my friend and her family must be going through.
