I've been half-avoiding this thread because I don't want to completely spoil the game for myself, but what's this about a 3rd-gen remake? owo Third gen was my second favorite gen so my interest is piqued D8

There is no previous region in X or Y, someone was just speculating how 3rd gen would be. I personally loved 3rd gen, it was my favorite or rather tied with gold and silver. I remember being undefeated in that pokemon tower with a dream eater gardevoir, hariyama and milotic.

If I read right, a NPC in XY was talking about Hoenn and how beautiful it is, then said 'you'll see it soon' or something, hinting at remake of gen3.
(Also, [MENTION=9519]Kagamine[/MENTION]; didn't say anything about a previous region being in XY in what you quoted, I got totally confused at the beginning of your post. )

No, it was along the lines that they would never do an early release/leak. My local Gamestop doesnt open till 10 am, the closest one that is doing a midnight release is 40min-1hour away. Oh, and they wont give me the poster because i preordered it too early (before they gave away the posters, and they wont give me one now).

I don't think there is another game store that's doing it faster in the USA, otherwise I ignore them like the plague :|. You did remind me that I have to call and find out if they are doing a midnight release lol
