Moonblast has already been shown to be quite accurate, 95 BP and lowers the enemies Sp. Atk by 1 stage. There's a good chance that most Fairy type pokemon will have the move, so it does give a lot of underused pokemon a new lease of life.
And that's just one move. There's a Fairy weather effect too.

So is that technically a new weather condition, then? Or is it just an effect that is applied? Either way, pretty good new attack.

Also TM 99 is Dazzling Gleam, basically a Fairy version of Shadow Ball.
Apparently there is a Safari Zone in this game, but it works differently. The pokemon in the safari zone are dependent on the friends you have registered, though there is no way of knowing how it really works.

Really? Ugh i wish they'd go away from that whole social aspect giving bonuses in pokémon.
Not everyone lives in an area where they can actually find people in real life to play or do stuff in pokémon with. As long as it's online friends only then it's okay and i can still get the stuff done but everytime they do one of the whole "Play with people near you" things ingame it makes me a bit sad because it's a part of the game i can never utilize.

Yes, I completely agree.

I feel the same too. In the meanwhile leading up to X/Y I've been getting what I can on my Black 2, White, and Black versions, and I just caught Regirock last night only to learn I need IR communications with a White 2 that has the Ice Key in order to get Regice. L>Someone in my city with White 2...
Also, if you added me, there should be a change posted in a few hours to my FC, since I got the 3DS XL. Will edit after classes.

*Sigh* and I'm just going to have to settle with battling Pokemon using simulators.

Wonder what other side effects those new weather gives.
Misty terrain is pretty nice, but it'd be no better than safeguard if that's all it does.
I mean we know what stuff like sandstorm (+50% sp def to rock types) and rain dance (100% accuracy thunder and hurricane), but does the game tell you what special effects they have without looking up a guide? I might've missed something.

I wonder if there's a fairy that automatically creates misty terrain. Maybe it'll be a dreamworld ability.

Perhaps it raises the evasion of Fairy types?
and possibly an increase in damage too.

Curious:
Why are we still under the assumption that dreamworld abilities will be possible? I thought the whole dream world site or w.e. was closing on Jan 14th. 0.o
Is it being remade for X & Y?

Is it being remade for X & Y? I doubt they would completely do away with the idea of hidden abilities, especially since they were a large part in bringing back certain pokemon into comptetive circles (such as Politoed and Ninetales)
also, speaking of abilities, there is an item you get Post-Game that allows you to change your Pokemon's ability. not sure if it can give you the Hidden Ability yet, but I wouldn't rule it out.
Also the Torchic you get from the event has it's hidden ability, so they still exist.

The PGL site isn't closing. It's under maintenance until 10/12 to be redesigned and supported for XY. The above chart explains everything that will slowly phase-out for Gen V stuff. You can view more here.
Dream World abilities will still be around.

So... no dream world until January? or am I reading this wrong?
I find it a bit annoying that Pokemon Bank doesn't come online until December 27th, and that we won't be able to transfer our pokemon over until then. and no dream world until then either.
I imagine I will have played the game to death by that point.
regardless, I imagine a lot of hidden ability pokemon will be given out through serial codes.

Okay so the PGL is not being closed... but that chart seems to imply that the dream world functions are completely disappearing.
They will remain as the PGL site without the dreamworld attachment.

The Dream World itself is closing after 12/10 (we won't be able to tuck in pokemon after that point). Nothing has been mentioned if it's going to re-open in some fashion. There will probably be another way to get Dream World abilities.

Will you have the same FC if you do a system transfer? I'm thinking about getting the XL and was wondering.
Razmos; I agree that no way to transfer pokemon until Dec is pretty late, but i can see why they dont have in open when you start your game. The dream radar kinda ruined B&W2 because you could easily get legendaries early on, which ruined some aspects of the game.
