Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

evidently the one from my university got 300+ pre orders for it, so midnight release here


(for scale, GTA 5 got 500 pre orders)

Went to the gamestop a mile from my house yesterday to pick up my 3DS XL and asked about a midnight release. Unfortunately it's not happening there, but they said they're opening at 9 AM (an hour early) so we can pick our games up.

I'm still very much undecided, but I'm leaning towards buying it...

...but in that case should I go all out and splurge on a 3DS XL...you know what, pineapple that 'cause I don't have the money.

So it comes down to 3DS vs 2DS. I'd get a used 3DS if I could find one in very good condition that's cheaper than a 2DS though...

p.s. Technically I DO have the money for it, but that would mean no more spending on games for the next few months or so because my mom will kill me a hundred times over. And God Eater 2 is coming out next month...okay, so it's the Japanese version, but if they are actually going to localise the game it shouldn't be too far off.

No midnight release here. I'd have to travel out of town to get it but I already have it pre-ordered here so meh.

So decided on Pokemon X (however I still love Mewtwo Y way more than Mewtwo X ). My friends told me of a shady game store pretty close that I may have to visit tomorrow for reasons....

If it helps, Mega Mewtwo Y is now the strongest pokemon in the game. Arceus has 720 base stat total, Mega Mewtwo Y has 780. It's a powerhouse.

Haven't seen their stats yet, but if we can trade Mewtwonite X for Y I'll be willing to trade.

I believe they saw before and after pics of Mewtwo and Mega Mewtwo Y and calculated his new base stat total on how much extra stats he gains. Or something, i'm terrible at maths. Smogon is like, the leading authority on this stuff, so i'm inclined to believe them.

Im sure a friend of mine or an sp member somewhere might eventually break under my requests, or ill just buy the other game at a later date

but nobody's seen X's then? and yea, if you have a picture of mewtwo before transform you can figure out the IV's easily (if untrained) then just use that on megamewtwo.

still 780 stats, and a crapton are gonna be on spattk i'm sure... deoxys move over here he comes (...i want megadeoxys... for... reasons, very destructive reasons...)
