Dangan Ronpa: Episode 11's out!

Dear God, I love this series. Soooo many plot twists. I haven't been this interested with the mystery genre since Death Note.

Ayumi is now tied with Shiori for best of the kaminomis, this episode was so adorable oh god. That perfect balance of embarrassment and exhibitionism during the bath scene; if she isn't the best girl in the show, she still puts off more unconscious sexuality than all of the others combined, even Nora.

DDPC 33: Shorter fight, but liked the rest of the episode, Sebastian is epic.

Catching up on anime after being on holiday since friday morning Big Grin

Gatchaman Crowds episode 11: I liked the first half of this episode, seeing how the characters had developed over the series was pretty cool, I didn't notice that they'd changed that much. And the OP now including Utsutsu's Gatcha form was pretty cool. Finally some epic fight scenes, the end of the episode was pretty depressing though. next episode looks like it's going to be awesome, shame it's the last one though.

High School DxD New episode 12: Still love this series. Looking forward to a 3rd season. so much comedy potential with all the girls moving in with Issei haha.

Gen'ei O Kakeru Taiyou Episode 12: After several episodes of "wow this is depressing" this episode was a nice change. Goody two-shoes Akari finally had something bad happen to her, and things are actually looking up for a happy ending, quite an exciting episode actually, and i'm actually looking forward to the final episode now.

Monogatari Second Season, Nadeko Medusa part 1: This seems like a really cool story arc. I wonder if Ougi is a time traveller? she seems to know all the "Stories" and how they unfold. She seems quite villainous to me. Sengoku is a wet blanket, I find her boring. Give her some deadly snake powers and she seems quite cool actually.

Time for worst girl arc. I may just skip it, Nadeko turns into a real peach in this one.

Poor Atari 2600...This was a pretty decent adapation, I hope they do a season 2 soon.

Dangan Ronpa End: I probably missed out on a lot, but I liked how fast paced it was so that I didn't have to wait weeks just to find out who did it. I might go back and read an lp though for the later mysteries for plot stuff they skipped, since I'm interested in the series now.

SnK: Loved how Annie crushed all the worshipers. The Military Police is a bunch of platypi. Flaming Eren was badass

Finales:

Daganronpa : i guess the outside will be discussed in season 2
Genshiken Nidaime: getting to it
MJP: Expected end. still content on where the show went. waiting for the second season
Kami-Nai: the show was wishy washy. the arcs were good, then bad
Kimi no Iru Machi: Getting to it
Love Lab: No more shoujo-ai'sh feelings anymore =(
Monogatari second season: Its not over so i cant say
Servant X Service: predictable since the begining, but entertaining show at the least. not sure if i enjoy Working! or SxS better
SnK/Aot: Getting to it
Railgun: UTW-Mazui Postponed sub
Watamote: as the series passed by, the cringe moments definitely dropped in quality.

other stuff

Oregairu OVA: SenseixHachiman Boat!

edit: watched most of the shows that i didnt get to

Genshiken Nidaime: the show's extremely hato centric, and has been for pretty much the majority of the show.
Kimi no Iru Machi: really, that MF ending. oh god
SnK/Aot: at least the show ended in action, twas a great scene.

Watamote ending: A rather enjoyable season finale. The comedy definitely dropped off by the end of the series, but an excellent series overall. You really feel for Mokochi and how lonely she is... and then she does some rather scary things and you think "nope, she deserves it".

Symphogear G episode 12: The sub was a week late, AGAIN. annoying. I was realllly worried Shirabe was going to die for a while. I liked her. everyone seems to think episode 12 was the finale, but i'm not so sure. the cliffhanger was nowhere near "series finale" level, too many hanging plot points. If i remember correctly, episode 12 of the first season ALSO looked like a season finale, but it ended up being 13 episodes. So hopefully there's one more episode to go.

Gen'ei ending: This show started out incredibly slow paced and dull. middle way it became too depressing and drudged down, became hard to watch. final few episodes though were really, really good, leading up to this finale which was VERY good. very action packed, very dramatic. I wish the whole series had been like that.
only complaint I have about it is that the final fight kinda drummed up this idea of them working as a team and saving the day, but nope, in the end it was just Akari one shotting the main villain by trying very hard. I enjoyed the characterization of Luna towards the end. She was a wet blanket for most of the season, but took a massive level in badass in the last couple of episodes.

railgun end
NOW I MAY JUST BE A SIMPLY COUNTRY BOY, BUT I DON'T THINK RAILGUNS WORK THAT WAY. The mass of a fucking space shuttle is a far sight different from the mass of a coin; the amount of energy required to accelerate that huge piece of steel any considerable amount using that method would cause the entire planet to vaporize or some pomegranate, wouldn't it? BUT HEY, who am I to add real science to indexverse; someone made an energy output chart for one of the panels where Misaka shoots a car with her normal railgun attack and the car flips hundreds of feet into the air and it was like, the power the sun requires to run for a few seconds or some pomegranate, I can't remember.
Episode was cool, though.

Luna and Akari don't become lesbians together though, so could have been better.

I was in the process of shedding a tear because Alis ded and Dee sad, but that scene really hurt. I've convinced myself it was merely a brotherly kiss to the forehead, but it's hard to tell from the angle.

Why did I even watch this show.

Gen'ei wo Kakeru Taiyou: Lots of dark scenes throughout this show, with its rather light animation style and character designs really made it work well. Especially the final three episodes with Akari being (mind) raped, and then the typical happy end. I would have been fine with a bad end for this show, with the set up they had going. Really would have fit well either way, but they played it safe?

Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS: 小学生って最高だぜ! Can't believe he actually said that but damn. This felt pretty decent, especially since it's almost exclusively a loliservice show. I liked it more than what I remember of the first season. Felt like they actually tried with development and story.

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S: Really strong show overall. The filler was a bit iffy, especially in regard to the scientists thinking they've matched the power of a level 5 through their robits, but then having them slaughtered immediately by Mugino. You would think they would have been able to do the research to actually know what the pineapple they're doing but whatever. Lots of dawww with Febri though. And of course they conveniently brush her under the carpet at the end. Much preferred over season 1's filler.

Servant x Service: Pretty funny show overall. Enjoyed it quite a bit, but it is rather mundane.

Love Lab: Riko is best girl. I think it was rather obvious how this was going to play out. The overall characters weren't all that great. Suzune and Sayori were uuugggghhhhh. Would have liked to have seen more Momoka and the Newspaper Association.

Danganronpa: I really disliked this show. Ending didn't make things any better for me.

Stella Jogakuin Koutouka C3-bu: This was terrible. I was excited because muh guns but the overall story was pomegranate. The characters were pretty much pomegranate. The animation was pomegranate. What the pineapple was with the fantasy world thing? And then Yura becoming evil. And Sonora and everyone else not giving two pomegranates. Final episode was okay because service, pineapple everything else. But damn.

Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui: That tiny glimmer of hope at the end with the senpai really bites down hard, ahaha. Hopefully we can get more cringes in the future. This has been decent.

Tamayura More Aggressive: I tuned in only to hear them say モアアグレッシブ and to hear Kayano Ai stutter lots. hnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg. Otherwise, it's the type of show that puts you to sleep with how relaxed, and possibly boring, it is. Liked it more than the first season though.

Shingeki no Kyoujin: That blazing fast pace of 1.2 chapters per episode.
>2013
>recapping the last episode in the first 3 minutes
Atmosphere was captured really well, but it is slow as pineapple. So much monologing in slow motion.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Ilya: From what I hear, they chopped out a lot from the manga which is weird since the actual episode pacing was slow as pineapple and the overall length was 10 episodes. I don't know whose decision it was to have such irregularly long pauses between dialogue and scenes, but it did not do this show any favours. They could have had more comedy filler or scene/background panning, but they decided to do stills on characters waiting for them to talk. The actual action/service scenes were fantastic, but the breaks in between to try to fill time were garbage.

Inu to Hasami wo Tsukaiyou: Started out pretty decent but continued to add more crazy pomegranate into the mix. Maguro eater for example was a bit too much. Show doesn't really seem to go... anywhere. But I can feel it's implied she doesn't want to finish writing the book because then the dog will die after reading it, etc. Would have liked more service if it was gonna be like this. ED isn't enough. Both songs are terrible.

Blood Lad: The atmosphere of this show was really silent. It lacked in BGM, and the dialogue felt stiff. The girls were nice though.

High School DxD NEW: MUH PLOT. The plot is so nice. Wish there was more Koneko plot and PLOT though.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. OVA: I love this show. More pls ._. Hiratsukawa-sensei, Komachi hnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg Really good episode for service as well as general shenanigans from the club.

Futari wa Milky Holmes: Why did I watch this show... At least they showed some of the normal Milky Holmes at the very end, but my god, Kazumi and Alice are boring as pineapple to watch.

Still waiting for glorious Symphogear finale. Tempted to watch a raw.

KLK
Look at all them frames. Great animation as usual from them.

KNK
eh, even though I get the premise, there's still something strange about a girl trying to kill someone repeatedly then trying to play it off by acting cute, even if only unintentionally. Can't even call it yandere...I don't think? I'd say yangire fits better, but still isn't quite right.

Golden Time
I think I'm going to like this one, I've never seen Koko's archetype before; stalker oujosama?

Nagi no Asakura
This one looks interesting too, and Manaka is already cutest girl of season for me.

The show was terrible. It started off so well too. All that potential, WASTED. :/

Well, iyashikei anime aren't for everybody I suppose.

Me? I freaking love the genre.

Having read the manga, I can tell you that all they really chopped out were scenes with foreshadowing (Sella talking about there being signs of Illya using her "power" recently, Irisviel asking her daughter if she was afraid of her own "power"...). The manga went at a blisteringly fast pace, ending most battles in little more than a few pages.

They also changed what happened right after the Assassin battle. In the manga, Illya was so mortified at having lost control of her powers that she ran flew away before anybody could say a word, while in the anime Miyu is all "I don't wanna fight with you ever again, get out of my face".

Golden Time looks like it will be interesting. I wonder how the dynamics will change in collge vs a highschool.

Railgun S End: The villains were lame and the lines were cheesy but I enjoyed the end of this arc. Lots of feel good teamwork and nice character development. And even a transformer. It was fantastic to see Kuroko fighting with the spears and to see her and Mikoto get even closer. Loved the cameos too. Can't wait to see more of Academy City.

So, basically SAO with less focus on drama and more on actual combat? I like the ED, never heard that singer before, her voice is pretty.
