Looks like I'll be trading my friend a Clauncher for a Skrelp, since Clauncher and his evolution are quite underwhelming to me.

However, I'm really psyched for the new Ghost-Types! This Genera
tion seems to have a LOT of Ghost and Dark-Types this time around, which is purty cool.

It feels like we've gotten way too many dark types in comparison to the other games, imo
15 dark types in black/white, while only 22 in the other 3 gens.
The ghost types aren't as high, but still pretty large. 9 in b/w compared to the 18 in the other 4 gens.

But I guess it doesn't really matter much compared to the total number of water types....

So many great Pokes this gen. Now picking a team will be f'ucking hard. I might have to have 2 or 3 teams.

Why must Gardevoir have a mega evolution? Why?!

Now I really really REALLY want this game.

I think it's just the form appearing. Next to Abomasnow is snover, so megas appear under their regular pokédex entries.

I'm guessing it shifts between the reg form and mega evo. MegaAbomasnow is in the reg's spot by Snover.

Skrelp evo looks awesome. surprised me.
Flabebe final evo looks... interesting. It's design looks pretty busy, I can barely see it's head.
Pumpkaboo evolution is disappointing in my opinion It could grow on me though.
Aegislash doesn't look how I was expecting. I'm assuming Blade Form is what it looks like in battle.
Goomy final evo looks interesting, but isn't my cup of tea.
Avalugg looks strange.

Flabebe merged with its flower, basically. So, yes, it is a big flower popping out from its head.

Looking more closely at it, Florges looks like a mix between Tsubasa and Edea

I'm okay with this.

Also apparently there is a new weather condition, called Static Sky. it powers up Electric type moves. I also heard of a Fog one and some sort of Grass one yesterday, but I completely forgot to mention them.

EDIT: Pokemon with Lightning Rod and Volt Absorb get healed every turn while under Static Sky.
