Are you/can you sell your account?
#1
I'm not sure if i'm allowed to ask this question.
If not, i'll delete it asap.

Anyway, I would really like to sell my account because of several reasons and I was
wondering how you would do this. Any idea what I can/should do to make this happen?

I know the question ''Why not sell the equips'' will come so i'll tell you right away.

- I have 25 character slots which are mostly filled with 120+ characters all with perm NX.
- My character has gained quite some fame over the last few years.
- I rather see someone take my character and keep playing with it than to just delete it.
- I have most character link skills.
- Many account locked items.
- VIP rock and a few perm pets.

Thank you in advance.

You're not supposed to, nor are you allowed. Pretty sure we're not supposed to talk about it either. Generally, it's not good idea since I'd bet there's a pretty high chance of you getting scammed or something.

You can technically do whatever you want with your account.
But you are not "allowed" to.

I sold my account years ago(650 bucks) even though it goes against the ToS. Nothing really happens, unless you advertise it in the game or something.

Good luck if you're set on doing this though.

i've always wanted a pally, -too poor-

anyways, you certainly "can" do it, although i won't go into explaining how due to...

nexon specifically stating you can't sell items (or characters, or accounts) for real money whatsoever.

Technically your account is property of Nexon, so if you get caught selling it for enough money, you could get into legal trouble and completely plantain over the buyer. Would not recommend this at all

If Nexon finds out, they'll just ban the account. Holy pomegranate, lmfao.

Hmmm... this is getting a little frustrating.
There's not a single person I know in person that would ever buy it so I guess
I might have to resort to selling my items alone and keeping the account for whatever reason.

It's just a shame so much stuff goes to waste really..

In addition to the above comments, you could sell it on the-site-that-shall-not-be-named.

I would just compare it to selling/buying NX. It's illegal, but nobody's going to find out and punish you if you do it unless you go out of your way to let it be known.

You can only really sell to someone you really trust. An account exchange would be just like selling NX: someone has to go first, and there's always a risk of getting scammed (probably via paypal, which also has the risk of chargeback). You would obviously have to give email info (or change the email to a new one). An alternative is using a middle man that both you and the buyer trust to hold the account info until after the financial transaction is made (even then, there's a risk of charge back with paypal).

As an aside: I feel the opposite of you. I have this weird attachment to my account/character. Too much time and too many memories were created over the years with the character. Strictly from a loss/gain standpoint, I wouldn't sell it solely because the amount you sell it for probably will not equal the value of the time you spent playing the game. Besides that, there's also sentimental reasons like I don't want someone being able to suddenly buy up the achievements of the character that I achieved and I made memories with for a few hundred or thousand bucks.

Completely agree.
There's also the fact that once you sell the account, you can no longer control what happens on it, so someone could buy it up and then use your reputation to pull off massive scams or things of that nature.
