Kudos to Nexon for getting on that at 5AM on a Saturday. It is over 24 hours since those were first smega'ed, but still, I'd have expected this to run wild until 10AM Monday at the earliest.

Good guy hackers use item smegas so Nexon can notice it before things are all over the place.

They added more to the notice:

An equipment upgrade hack will be blocked.
Equipment with inflated stats from this hack will be deleted.
Accounts that used the hack will be banned.

That's good news.

Some hackers might've hid some stuff in places Nexon doesn't look but oh well.

[Complete] The maintenance is complete as of 7:36 AM Pacific (10:36 AM Eastern). Cash items in your inventories have been extended to cover the length of the maintenance.

This is completely random, but I think this is the first ever time they didn't round their maintenance completion time to the nearest 5th minute :f6:

Judging by the amount of people that are not currently in the fm. I will say nexon was ruthless with these bans/delete. I have never seen a regular store permit in fm 1!

They did a mass ban (Sept 15th), lots of people who sold anything in fm are either 1 month banned or permanently banned. I'm really surprised no one has made a topic about the recent bans in this forum. Basil is exploding, and on nexon forum's, the moderators keep merging the topics.

I got banned permanently, all I did was sell stuff in my mushie. Most of my bl is banned, either one month or permanently. The ones that didn't set shop this last few days aren't banned.

And still no news from nexon.

I'm sure this exact same exploit was around for the last (2?) picnic events.
I've gotten 20 slates from this legitly so I hope there's no confusion on nexon's end. I've stopped doing the quest to be safe, and took everything out of my store.

Be cautious, guys. We all know how stupidly nexon handles things like this.

Due to a meso generating hack that was blocked on Sunday during an unscheduled Cash Shop maintenance, many accounts with mesos resulting from this hack were banned. At this time, we have released some of those accounts from the ban but have tradeblocked these accounts while we thoroughly investigate this matter. Once our investigation is complete, we will remove the tradeblocks and permanently ban any guilty accounts.
