I logged got back into Dragon Nest and a LOT has changed. For one, my Topazes are now some Altheum or however you spelt it. I am sitting on 600g and am still able to tank bosses like a boss.
But it's so confusing again. I messed up my skills...*sigh*

I want to keep this quiet, but that one guild that's been making headlines in Levithia belongs to me since Beta/Argenta. It was the guild all my maple friends and I started back in beta and even though it was very inactive during 40 cap and it's only like level 14, and such, it's been pretty active for the past couple of months and will continue to be. I don't want to lose its name which is why I'm pushing so hard for "creation date"

If it's the guild I'm thinking of... I get the feeling they're about to make a scene...

Normally I'd be for giving the name to the Leviatha side, but this is an open beta guild that has revitalized itself. Then seniority should be priority.

Yes it is but when they announced it was based on creation date, I was ecstatic.

And in no way am I giving that name to them.

Does anyone else here play Dragon Nest on Steam? When the update happened, there's no way for me to update the game. (I click on verify game cache and that downloads some of it, but it doesn't get it all). I have to click verify game cache like 20 times and it's still downloading bits. Is there any easier way?

Really don't feel like redownloading the game from the website...

I don't play through Steam, but I hear nothing but problems for those launching through the service. Very little info on fixes other than waiting for the problems to resolve themselves. At this point, I think it'd be faster to just download the client from the website, at least you'd have a backup option in case Steam screws up again.

Well, I guess the one thing good about the game downloader is that you only need to download it once. Even if you stop playing for months on end, it just patches everything up at once.

To anyone getting the "Authentication server down" error when logging in, have you found any working solutions to that? All I've been doing is restarting the client and attempting to login again. I don't use Steam to login.

On the plus side, the random FPS drops that I was getting 1-2 weeks before this patch seemed to have stopped (though I was getting these in CDN as well so I'm not sure what Nexon did)

Apparently they say to log into a different account, log out of it, then log into your main account and launch the game?

Seems skeptical but I did it once and it got my game working...

Just make a party or ask someone here to help you.

No avails to any party. Tried asking guildmates, but no one replied.

I looked at YouTube videos and saw it wasn't as hard as I imagined it to be. (As long as I kept my ultimate ready-to-go when the time limit stages come)

And then....mother of god those Minotaurs suck ass... THANKFULLY I killed one of them before I died the 3rd time.

Soloing that quest is ridiculously freaking hard, especially as a Paladin. Which one are you going?

I'm going Crusader! I know people will want Guardians more, but meh. I liked how Crusaders were way back with 40 cap and have geared myself towards that from the get go.

Also, I do a lot of soloing, so tanking + power = All my yes

Woo, finished my Soul Eater's 6 Suffix II equips. Now to start on my Shooting Star's Suffix II. My new stats on my Soul Eater:



Still gotta +12 the Fan and get a Focus to +10-12. A couple of my armors also need to be enhanced some more for more HP. Currently at 55.8% Dark Att. If/When I get the LGDN Focus, it'll be 63.8%

If I still need HP when DDN is released, I'll be using my Vital Ririka Necklace (Int/Vit/HP spark) so I'll lose ~10% Dark Att, but with hopefully 6x% at release, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Since it's been a week I figured I'd make a new post:



+12'd my fan, bought a level 60 Superb Mystical Enhancement, and bought a level 60 Rare Ultimate Enhancement! Also got a pair of LGDN Slippers on my run for this week and +7'd them. The spark needs fixing (4.87% HP -> 6.5% HP) and they need to be +12'd eventually. Saving up for that and for in case I get a LGDN Focus this Saturday to finish my L-grades.

I wonder if I can just keep this title in my inventory...

You think you can convince VGLance/vince to accept me to that gdn hc team. My main group stopped running a month ago when most people got their stuff and the other group I joined didn't even run once and won't reply to my messages. I've been just doing randoms (successfully at least w/ no fails so far) but it's annoying to find groups. I don't think madi (darkliqht) would mind as her IW/WM are her mains and are much stronger.
