Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

Were these not announced before? I thought they were. too bad it doesnt come with the game, but i guess that happens when you release it 2 weeks early.

i didn't see ANY posts about it, so this is the first i heard of them.

and i'm GLAD that they don't come with the game, i like having my cartridges.

Fennekin is being modeled after a witch. Chespin is a knight, and Froakie is a rogue/thief.

I bet all of my Pokemon cards on this.

Electric types can no longer be paralyzed
Ghost types are not affected by moves that prevent fleeing
Grass types are now immune to powder and spore moves

This was unexpected.

I always thought that's how it was haha. i never used leech seed on grass types because I never thought it would work. Never tried paralyzing an electric type either

So my habits don't need to change at all

Electric-type Pokémon cannot be afflicted with the Paralyze condition.

Quilladin looks a lot better than I thought originally from CoroCoro. I'm hearing it'll turn into a knight in its final evolution, which would be pretty sweet! Still not too excited about Braixen... Really hoping Fennekins third evolution makes up for it. I still love Frogadier. I wasn't a fan of Froakie and Chespin at first, but now I like them.

I can get all the starters from friends, but the question is which one I want to play through with my main game...

For Electric types, there's now no way for them to get paralyzed - unless something else comes in XY.

Pretty sure he meant that it makes no sense that an electric type being immune to lets say stun spore that has nothing to do with electricity(I agree on it too).

Ohhh, that makes more sense to me on what he meant! Yeah, it doesn't make sense on how they'd be immune to moves like Stun Spore, etc when they aren't electric type moves, as well as abilities like Synchronize, which is for grass types...

Also if I recall force palm and body slam are other methods.

And Lick(but who uses it?).

On the other hand, isn't paralysis caused by problems with nerves passing electrical signals?
Also, the last several "Can't move due to para" animations have been fairly electrical in appearance.

That's actually something me and my girlfriend have talked about before. Paralysis is actually a "neutral" status condition that isn't tied to Electric-type whatsoever, so this new change doesn't make sense. If they specified it for Paralysis solely from Electric attacks that would make sense.

So, maybe you guys have no idea, but I figured I'd just ask. When do you guys think we're gonna get full spoilers for the game--like the entire list of Pokemon, version exclusives, etc.? I still have no idea which version to get, but I still want to pick the game up on release day, so I hope full spoilers for the game are released at least a few days before the official release.
