I wouldn't be surprised. Hell, we already have one: MegaBlaziken, already confimed to only be available during the event.

I don't think wifi events and dlc things are quite the same thing. Presumably the blaziken megastone event is just going to be a wondercard equivilant like 4th/5th gen, and everything is already on the game card for mega blaziken.

Nintendo will probably start charging for pokemon dlc soon though, given it's become blatantly obvious people will pay for them. (Did anyone really buy pokemon radar for the "game"?)

edit: looks like the 2nd mewtwo mega form (GogetaMewtwo) is psychic/fighting. Might also be limited to one mewtwo mega evo per game (one for x, other for y)

I've noticed that the first Mewtwo mega evolution has red eyes, while this new Psychic/Fighting one has blue eyes. Perhaps that's a hint towards which games they are exclusive too.

Fighting-Mewtwo looks ridiculous, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Mega-Garchomp looks like a BAMF though.

I *think* freeze skin is a pokemon power, and according to serebii it's only normal type moves that become ice. So even if it's a pokemon which resists ice, that sounds pretty useless :/
