Monster Life Breeding and Play Reference (WIP)

So I guess the choice between Tip Top Balloon Shop and Ludibrium is how often you can harvest your waru.

If I did the math right

Two hour with one Ludibrium Toy Shop is 2000 waru.
Two hour with four Tip Top Balloon Shops is 1680 waru but it can bank longer. Takes 30 more minutes to beat the Toy Shop.

I guess while playing keep the Toy Shop out and switch to the Balloon Shop if you are going to afk for longer than 2 hours and 30 minutes if I did the math right. Seem about right?

An update to my farm. The following monsters are no longer going to be on my farm, in exchange for an S rank Plant and Oddities when I get them.

Oops, noticed a glitch in the regular monster spreadsheet. Should now be able to return up to 68 results instead of only the first 20 it finds. I don't know if any types have more than 68 active farms yet - if they do I should now be able to expand it more easily.

Resuming my quest for Amore Spores, I now have 9 A+ mushrooms.

Yeah I did. When looking though the shop, it is almost as effective as four of those milk shops in terms of waru per hour and storage, and offers something like 4000 aesthetic points. From what I have seen, I think everything (that costs gems) in the Buildings and Decor can pop up in the special shop. Unfortunately since normal shops seem to get stuck in there, it is harder to get Tip Top Balloon Shop, so the Ludi Toy Shop is a nice alternative (especially if you are under level 35 and can't get the milk shop or want the aesthetics).

Yeah, it's nice to have all those things in the Special Shop - but it also means any given thing (such as the Tip-Top Balloon Shop) shows up a lot less often.
Also, it seems to me that the special shop itself shows up a lot less often than it used to.

Meanwhile I'm diligently doing the quests for the Gems. 3-4 more days and I can expand my farm to 22x22!

Special Shop is definitely showing up a lot less for me which is strange considering I've been boosting my asthetic like crazy after the patch. Usually it would show up at least once per day for me at the minimum but I've went days without it showing up. Today was the first time since the patch that I've seen it.

Need more of those cannons to show up in the shop just to boost the shops appearance

@SaptaZapta, Prism: Not sure if it's just coincidental or what, but the special shop seems to show up most often for me immediately following the midnight reset. If I'm not around to check ML then, I usually don't see it for the rest of the day.

This is Nexon we're talking about, so I'm going to guess the +20% is multiplied, not added. Eg, if the base chance of seeing the shop is 1% per visit to farm, then the bonus brings that to 1.2% not 21%.

I think I've only seen the special shop once in the last two or three weeks. Checking at midnight PT is not an option for me.

I used to get it every day at midnight (I was on then because it was the easiest way for me to schedule 3 nurtures - 12am, 8am, 2-6pm). I think if I missed that I got it the first time I was on for the day.

Recently I haven't been seeing it at all,my waru are just piling up.

Lackluster Box, Big Bass, Snowman, Pristine A+, Pristine S, Icy Retreat

Bought the Big Bass for 92000. Can't buy the boxes because I already have every box unopened in my inventory. Snowman is definitely not worth near 130K waru so I'll pass on it.
My Twin Bunny also expired today and it really isn't worth reviving at the cost of 3 gems. Need the farm space anyway I suppose.

I have noticed that the more time I spend off of monster farm the more likely the special shop is to appear. It may just be a coincidence. Also to iAmFear's point, I have had the special shop appear during the middle of the day. This is usually in between quests and nurtures. I was able to get Aran's Legacy and it was better than anything I have been getting for a while.

Also, has the chance of getting an S and SS rank gone up? I spent about 300k trying to renew my Reaper Specter and I got 2 SS Lord Pirates, 1 SS Ghost Captain, a S Crimson and S Master Guard, 4 S Pirate Kings, 2 S First Offices. No Reaper though. I have spent that amount before and have never gotten that lucky. I also spent about 50k to renew my Pixiemom, resulting in 3 S Fairies and 1 S Pixiemom. It may just be my luck, regardless it is going to be harder to renew certain monsters with 5 S rank options like the Reaper Specter.

Quick question. Can you get rank C speial monsters from the Second-hand monster box? I am after the Pumpkin Bat for that speed cap raise.
