v141 Cygnus Awakening - Bugs and Glitches

Pulling some info from the other thread over, Cygnus Knights (the revamped ones) cannot use Andy's Mastery books and related quest reward random mastery books.

If you open the Monster book, you will notice that some monsters have those level 90, 100, 100 weapon/armour placeholders in their drop list. Don't know if they actually dropped it... was trawling through Monster book to see if they've finally added the silly Dragonic Fish Fin recipe somewhere (should add this as a bug too).

the weapon/armor placeholders seem to be working as intended now as captains where dropping level 90 stuff that they were not before and they have those placeholders

It's because all they're skills don't need a mastery book is why andy's doesn't work. I doubt it ever will or is supposed to.

I think those place-holders were added and are working as they should now =o
I've been noticing a lot of correctly-leveled item drops from monsters while I was doing Theme Dungeon quests, so I think they added the "Monsters will now drop items of their corresponding level" feature, and just didn't mention it anywhere in the patch notes.

Noticing a visual bug in Kerning City on my Thunder Breaker:

All of those arrows that point you to where you needa go for beginner quests are showing up together at once.
At first, I thought maybe it was trying to point me to Kerning Square...but then I remembered that I just finished Kerning Square, lol.

You have "short tooltip" set in your System Options for some reason. Turn it off.

I thought the revamped Cygnus Knights don't use mastery books? if so it makes sense that they can't use the mastery books.


In regards to the monster book, i've noticed that PC Cafe coins are now showing in the drops

My Xenon can't enter the Six Path Crossway map in Future Henesys, I started the quests before the patch, and could enter fine. Now it gives the 'debris is blocking' message.
Quests in the quest UI are in incorrect areas' categories, Gate of Future quests are in Pantheon and such.

Fans and katanas still can't be extracted.

Seems like mobs got updated drop tables.

Chief Oblivion Guardians are dropping equips that they have never dropped before.

Riena Strait theme dungeon is glitched for me (Kaiser level 143). Can't collect the lumber, nothing appears on the ship map. I also had some trouble with quest bulbs not showing for the first quests of this dungeon's questline. So eh...

Not sure if it's my terrible Australian connection or not, but Dawn Warrior's Speeding Sunset doesn't seem to be working properly.
Comparing it to the kMS videos I've seen, it doesn't seem to launch you upwards as much as it probably should, it only goes to the height of a normal jump.

EDIT: Nevermind, it was a kMST video I was looking at.

Edit: Apparently the cause was my PS4 controller being connected as a gamepad (ie, not just charging) that caused the issue.
After desyncing it from my computer Maple stopped crashing; the USC was coincidental. Original erroneous post below.

[SUP]Been crashing every few minutes since that USC ended.
I can avoid it by never using a skill or looting, though; basic attacks seem to be fine.[/SUP]

Not sure if mentioned but if you jump and falcon dive to try to hit a mob, you'll dc ... and not sure if just me but falcon dive sin't hitting any monster...

uh, i hope this IS a bug, because if not this is really strange to do

phoenix and frostprey in monster life have been downgraded to A+, actually i think all the birds previously rank A+-S have been downgraded ranks (save for griffey) so there are no S rank birds anymore..

a lot of monsters were updated this patch, but the fact there is a gap between A+ and S for birds is strange, lol

Ironclad's 5% damage buff (3rd job Thunder Breaker skill) doesn't seem to apply. When it's used, your attack range doesn't change.

I haven't played since Demon Avenger, so I'm not sure if this is new, but on my Wind Archer I seem to crash every few minutes and I can't seem to figure out why. It just d/cs me back to the character selection screen, not the whole game, but it happens often enough to make things unplayable. And no, I don't have a bad computer/connection.

Is the cygnus link skill supposed to be 5% when only one is linked?
