Guitar advice
#1
Well, with the sh'itload of Christmas money I got, I decided that I'd somehow upgrade my guitar. Forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I dunno why I'm asking here, but I have asked on a forum dedicated to guitars as well. Anyway, if any of you could give your input, it would be appreciated.

What I have right now: Fairly recent (2004) Fender Stratocaster, no modifications. Standard pickups, frets, everything, nothing's changed. The problem is that I dunno what to upgrade to. There are a few things I'm considering, but I don't know which to choose.

1. Vintage quality pickups to replace the stock pickups on my Strat. Preferably HB pickups, single or dual.

2. Epiphone SG/Les Paul, fitted with 2 or 3 vintage HBs.

3. Vintage SG/Les Paul, 2 or 3 HBs, custom.

If you have any other suggestions, feel free.

You can't ditch your Stratocaster that easily, first of all. And secondly before upgrading your guitar, why don't you try with an amplifier or some pedals?

However, if you definitely want to upgrade your guit, well... I don't know.
