I really don't see this thing being tanky AP like everyone is saying. More like mid-range AP caster. I wonder if anything will change with champion previews now that the Lucian fiasco has passed.

There were mentions of him having support abilities too, so i'm thinking he might be a support/mid AP champ.

I had that circle around me when I was playing on the PBE, it's around everyone for some reason.

EDIT: By everyone I mean the champion you use. doesn't show on anyone but yourself

Riot mentioned that it was for ease of finding yourself or something like that. Also, the Garen VU is so l0l.

[COLOR="#cc8899"]Moonflair Spellblade changed to remove the "Ranged Only" tag on PBE.
So Tenacity, large amounts of MR and Armor, and AP...what melees would want that...

Now an interesting option for:
Diana (Uses every stat excellently)
Kayle, Nidalee, Elise now retain the stats in melee form. Still don't think it'd make it into their builds under normal circumstances though.
Skarner (The AP isn't ideal, but at least it scales with all of his skills and he LOVES resistances)
Cho'Gath (oh dear god Cho'Gath...) and to a lesser extent Galio stand out as absolute beasts with it.
Fizz (probably not ideal, too defensive an item for him)
Kassadin, maybe. Don't think it gives enough damage for him though, same issue as Fizz.
Malphite maybe. He'd probably rather get something else though. Same for Maokai.


I think Cho'Gath is probably the most beneficial case. He gets a ton of free HP from his ult, making Armor and MR very desirable for him. He's got decent AP ratios and can benefit from the scaling pretty well, and the tenacity helps him stick to people when his CC is down. There may be some abuse cases that aren't immediately obvious to me, but he seems the best fit for it. [/COLOR]
