The midnight of Malaysian's Independence Day for 56th times. I'm dull, my head was getting fuzzy with those mind concentrating works like digital painting and graphic design. Ahhhhh,
With my DS account is still locked until now, probably I'll return to the land that I hated (MapleSEA) for some chats with friends.
Before I was about to post this post, my grandmother want me to find a woman for my life companion as soon as possible. A bit discussion happened between me and her.
Haru: Grandma, I don't think I can find a future wife for now. The costs of wedding and dowry alone currently around RM 10k-15k (approx USD 2.8-4.7k).
Grandma : I want to see my 1st grandson have a wife as soon as possible.
Haru: -silent and speechless-
I don't want to think about marriage now. It's hell for me.

That's the only issue?
Like, if your grandma were to hand you a cheque for RM 20K, you'd go and find a wife right away?
Happy Independence Day.

Oh yeah, I'm going to Dallas today for a week. I have to move into my new place on the first but my dad doesn't care, he just wants to go see his mom. Rescheduled with landlord for the 6th, which is the day after we come back.

The issue is actually:
1) I don't have decent paychecks for my current job, thinking the possibility of the marriage to be last longer. My paycheck is around RM 800-1300, depending on projects and incentives.
2) This is might be related with my country's culture, but dowry, wedding costs is much hell if including wedding clothes, make up for wedding ceremony for bride, catering and everything related with wedding. Like my family want to maintain the our race's tradition as Malays. -facepalm- I argued this point with my family before I went to sleep. Here's the summary of things happened:
Mom: We want you to follow the tradition, RM 10k for the dowry.
Haru: What the-
Dad: Catering isnt a problem to me.
Haru: Mom, dad, stop it. I haven't decide any-
Grandma: Go and find your future wife.
Haru: Hello, I'm not even ready for marriage, I haven't learned fully to bear those big responsibility even after marriage. If I want to marry someone, I want to make the wedding will be simple, without being tied to tradition culture of Malay. Just a very, simple wedding ceremony with the way of a modest Muslim does and a small thanksgiving feast for villagers in my village. And, I don't have decent paychecks for my job now. Then all of you pushing this on me. -facepalm-
3) I'm still not ready for marriage and not having enough knowledge regarding responsibility post-marriage. I've seen enough issues regarding a grown adult will ditch his/her parents to welfare house, even in front of my eyes. I don't want to be ungrateful child to my parents. Just marriage only I can think worst possible issues, from raising a child and future problems to issues with parents with both sides of party, living costs, shelter, food. I want to raise my child with the Islam's method because only my grandmother, my mother and me care about daily religion practices.
Sapta: if my grandma want to give RM 20K to me, probably I will say [Use the money to do Hajj in Mecca for your sake] to her.
And thanks Sapta.

I had plenty of time to attend a college football game, but I never went because... well, I don't know really.
Today, I went to the first game of the season, and it was a blast. Football is one hell of a sport.
I'm super tired from all that cheering and standing, so I must sleep.

Unpineappleingbelieveable...
Family Reunion was interesting. Though, I don't like people talking about how I look behind my back. That and I hated when every time I got out of my chair, there's always someone that takes it. They took my water/sodas with the chair as well or they would move the chair and place the drinks/food where it last was. Do people not understand how annoying that is????
I thought my fraternity would get things straight since there's a new exec board. Nope.jpg. Some people are still lazy as pineapple and now's NOT the time to be screwing around. I missed our 1st meeting because of my family reunion and our VP is already frustrated with some of them. I'm on board on putting them on probation or removing said people from positions. This is ridiculous.
I didn't even get the meeting notes. When I asked what happened, I was told to "look at the notes". ARRRGHHHQHERHQEBUHQTBQRTUBIQBTQRBT
This year just got started and we're already in trouble.

Day 3 of my 5 days straight of work (and some days that have school). I'm still alive. It's my first real part-time job. So far, so good.

I met my person of interest tonight, he looks so much like Malik from 1D. I've determined he's perfect boyfriend material, gonna try and make this happen if it goes the right way. Fingers crossed~

Seriously considering dentistry as a career... So Ive started studying for the DAT. I'm sick of coming home tired as pineapple.
I do find me time by reading novels though thankfully. I want more books to read though...
I've been talking to my parents more about their life experiences. It's a big deal for me because I've never been close to my parents so hearing them out made me admire them a little bit more.
