Inspiration?
#1
I really don't know where else I could put this..

Now that I'm level 80, I don't think I lost a spark.. It's just that the community kind of ruins the game for me now-a-days.

KSers the most, yet that's not a reason to quit. I need some inspiration to continue my Sniper, I know I can make it to my goal of 120.

Anyone? :f6:

Ooooh thats a good point xD

Your a pretty good inspiration to me though.

So is Xiyuuna, Isaac(GS), and Kajitii.

For some reason they all seem like hardworkers.

My whole BL is a good inspiration, but I want a good inspiration of how cool it is too be a Marksman.

inspiration? don't got much of that myself

which build?

AE first? just think about the smexy dmg you'll be seeing when you get that strafe up to a decent lvl...

Strafe first? now that you have that godly dmg, you can start working on your AE and go mob the hell out of those annoying monsters you were fighting before (damn those STD's.....)

Hybrid build? this one is a little harder as I don't know your intentions...

none-the-less you made it through the hell of 70-75 and you've got some flashy moves to show for it, show off, and take pride in knowing that you've put in the time and effort to get this far, dealt with ksers along the way, and your just a stone's throw to your goals

get some friends that can help you train (and i mean a mutually beneficial party or help a friend thats in the hell lvls get out of them) and just go with the flow till you get some real motivation (if you log on a only gain 10% in 5 hrs online then just take it as a slow day and realize thats 10% closer to your next lvl)

Hmm. Save money and go for leech? xD Nah, jk. But do consider it.

For me my inspiration was seeing my damage going higher and higher as i level or get new equips. Also, as Dyxanije said, i race with my friends to see who hits what level first. Grinding is really boring, yes i know.

Or u could wait til Magatia PQ comes out xp It gives (kinda) good EXP and u can get that awesome Horus's Eye necklace Glitter

lol Take me off your inspiration list, I think I'm going afk for awhile again.

Top 5 Problems.

1. Hackers
2. Lack of training parties
3. Can't find a reason to keep training
4. "friends"
5. General boredom and the desire to do something else.

Personally, my best inspiration for characters comes from competition. I trained for 10 hours or so in one day trying to beat NoJobNoRules to 45. ._______.

</3 Why can't you stop grinding and let me get a nice, comfortable lead? D: I keep having this sinking feeling that you'll beat me to 48. Frown

And yea, it definitly keeps me focused when I'm competing against this guy. Mardislander and KNOD were also 2 competitions that I enjoyed going against. Otherwise, you don't have much to grind for except...well, grinding. :X

I do it all the time. The 20k lead you have is "comfortable" in my book. Tongue

I don't know how I had motivation either. During the Summer of 2008, I went from lv 7X-120 within 3-4 months. I used double EXP cards most of the time, and I did not leeched. I trained my ass off at Squids (The black + white one) from late 7X until early 100's, afterwards, I sniped at Newties, and even took top platform around 11X and trained my butt off until 120!

I had absolutely no competition, but I had have other NLs that I looked up to. The main reason I didn't get bored easily was also because I played a female character, and not a male character (I'm a guy, btw). Because it's also hard and rare to see strong female-gendered Night Lords these days too.

I know the feeling of lost inspiration... I'm sorta reaching that, at a surprisingly low point with my page... I'm at 58 now, and I can't seem to get into a training "groove" so to speak... seems either most training grounds are now, too low EXP to be practical, or two much time/damage taken/effort for not that much more EXP. I'm hoping this gets better at 70, right?

I get that all the time on my characters. Sin quit at 62 after Glitching (1st wave). Page quit at 59 after being bord. Infighter on hiatus at 57 for Islander. Dx
I'm sure it'll go away once you get to 67 or something, and realize how close you are to 3rd job.
