Well this is unexpected. The fact that all the Worlds are near their population cap is impressive and frustrating at the same time.

That is some awful english there. It'll resolve quickly though, this is just initial rush.

Tonight was a good night for leveling crafting/gathering classes, at least. My friend got to ACN 30 just a few minutes before the maintenance, so we'll see how SMN is (what I was planning on selecting for a job). I haven't had too bad of a time getting into my world, usually the queue is under 50, sometimes 100, but it usually passes moments after I alt+tab. I feel like most people who are going to be playing the game would have pre-ordered for EA, so this is probably the worst it will be for a while. *crosses fingers*

I can't even complete most of my quests during the day because of the overload on the Instance servers, but then at night they go into maintenance...Kinda a bleh first day of Early Access, honestly.

What? Did you really just... Getting a little too deep here, sir. Emotions are one of the MANY things that make us human, and should be cherished, not scoffed at. Anger is an emotion and has its place, and maturity is knowing how to deal with emotions instead of throwing a temper tantrum like a young brat. Polantaris is fully aware of this, it seems, and is justifiably angry, but isn't raging like some of the kids that have regrettably ended up on viral videos.

EDIT: Didn't want to double post, but since I can't play (world is FULL), I decided to make a FFXIV: ARR Token Icon to match my Windows desktop and theme. It is crude, but it works. I can also add text, such as "FFXIV" or "XIV" below the icon, but it will make it look even smaller and cramped than it is now. Can somebody share with me the policies on linking to downloads? Or can I just go ahead and link? They are uploaded on mediafire, not gonna do a virus scan unless it's necessary because I just made this in AI.

Not trying to flame-bait or anything. I have been stirred by the lack of representation in Midgardsormr, and am inclined to create a LS for LGBT and allies. Hope you guys have found some nice LS to talk to people in-game, or even a FC! I quite enjoy talking to people who are just starting their adventure like I am, although explaining basics in LS chat or shout chat OVER AND OVER AGAIN is tiring. *yawns*

I was upset, but it didn't affect my decisions what so ever, or even really waste any time (outside of the twenty seconds it took to post about it). In fact it helped me because I could have overslept and been late for work if I spent too much time playing. So, yeah, I'll keep my emotions.

Side note: Are we back to no queues for full servers or can the queues themselves be full?

It took me like two hours after maintenance to be able to get in last night, not sure why. I thought the "Slowly opening the servers" thing was only for yesterday morning's maintenance, not all of them from now on.

I haven't seen Ramuh yet...got a screenshot?
