The Humble Origin Bundle!
#1
https://www.humblebundle.com/

Dead Space, Burnout Paradise Ultimate, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Mirror's Edge, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honour

Beat the average and get The Sims 3 + starter pack and Battlefield 3. All of them can also be redeemed on Steam except for Battlefield 3 and and Dead Space 3.

Yeah, didn't beat the average for this one, don't care about any origin-only games.
Dead space and mirror's edge for barely any money on steam? Yes please, though.

kinda glad I didn't buy Mirror's Edge on the Steam sale.

Sims 3 content is nice, though.

Wait.. I've never bought one of these.
So.. let's say I pay $10 do I get all of those titles being shown?
Even sims and BattleField 3?

Yes, you just need to beat the average to get all the titles.
Some of them work on steam and some work on origin only.

I would say for anyone that doesn't know how this work, that if you wanna buy the below average bundle, do it now. More likely than not after a few weeks have passed they will include extra game codes to those who pay above the average, but anyone who bought the bundle before that will also get the extra games.

I also got this bundle too, hoping they will add Dead Space 2 Steam code in the future, too bad that Dead Space 3 is origin only :/

Not sure if you can give these codes out to people, I'm guessing so.

I have codes for Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, Mirrors Edge and Battlefield 3 if anybody wants them for free (I have Dead Space, Dead Space 3 and Mirrors Edge, and i'm not interested in the other 2)

PM me if you are interested

I am a little disgusted by this to be honest. It used to be a way to help charity and promote indie developers who actually needed it, not greedy fat studios who have billions already.

I guess it was just waiting to happen.

This isn't the first big studio to do it. However, did you even click through to the website?

EA are giving all proceeds from this charity.

I have yes, but it is still disappointing that they don't think indie developers are worth the time anymore.

Christ, overreaction much? It's not been that long since they had an indie sale (the previous sale in may infact), or the weekly humble sale which is almost always indie games EVERY week.

I fail to see how ONE bundle with big games that's exclusively for charity (running alongside a weekly sale that's almost, if not exclusively indie) means that indie devs aren't worth the time anymore.

Really now. Tongue

If anything this is them giving EA a chance to save some shred of their public image, not them forsaking indie devs.

Quite Honestly, for Charity, Big Companies have a really impressive effect on the humble sales, just see how much this one have gotten in a few days. And no i don't believe they have forgotten about indies, i mean are you forgetting the weekly sale?

I know a few people have speculated that Crysis 1 will get added (possibly replacing one of the other ideas here). Crysis 1 is overrated, though, so I don't really care one way or the other to be honest.

I wouldn't mind if it was, I redeemed the second one, but haven't played either of the games. If the first one is added too i'll probably play them in order.

I hope Bulletstorm is added, It looks like a fun, not-too-serious shooter like Borderlands.

also pretty cool if they add Dead Space 2 so that the whole set is there

Bulletstorm is a decent game. Was it published by EA though, or on Origin? I don't remember anymore.

I remember playing bulletstorm, those point bitching stunts. I'm Happy with a Dead Space 2 add though, to complete the collection. (Albeit i'm not tempted to invoke satan by installing Origin).
