Did premium dice always expire?

Saved all my dice and was going to open them today, first one got this message


And it took the die. Did this happen before or is it new? Usually there's some message on the item that says "Use by this date"

Might just hold onto them on a mule for next time dice are back.

they never stated an expiration date, that sucks

It happened with the last attendance event yeah, but you can just hold on to them and they will work again if there is another attendance event.
