Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

Dragon type is just the obvious choice though. iirc it has a dragon egg type and can learn dragon pulse. Plus it's based on a gecko or something, which is a lizard (I THINK) which is close to a dragon. o - o

I mean, if you're adding a type, yeah. But it causes more problems if anything. It loses its weakness to Fire for a weakness to Dragon and Fairy,4x weakness to Ice on top of keeping the rest of its weaknesses (Flying, Poison, Bug). Not to mention it's so fragile already I don't think Sceptile can really afford to take on anymore weaknesses.

I'm not sure how I feel about mega evolutions. Are they permanent? Like, when they mega-evolve, do they stay that way? o_o This is probably a dumb question since I just randomly popped in this thread after talking to someone about Pokemon all night.

Probably not given anime mewtwo changes between forms at will in the ova/film.

It's probably a hold item or you can change it between forms at a certain place.

I wonder how common Mega's will be in tournament teams. On top of that will they be banned like how most legendaries are? Additionally will we get more Mega's in the next generation or is this a gen 6 only thing?

It seems like if the megastone is required for any of the mega-pokémon, it'll only be obtainable through the event Torchic for now.

According to the official website, the event is the ONLY way to get Blazikenite. If you don't get that Torchic you will not be able to get MegaBlaziken.

Weirdly, they have only revealed MegaLucario, MegaMewtwo and MegaBlaziken. the other 3 have not been shown.

Gen 5 really didn't sell me, but this, this one actually looks promising as f`uck.

I can see those mega stones being DLC, there's no way you'll find 300+ megastones for each megavolution ingame

True. I wonder if they changed dragon being weak to dragon? I haven't seen any videos indicating that yet. I guess we'll see when the new type chart is released.

well apparently they can be find in game, but not all of them tho, also notice that not all pokemons have megaevos

As a casual fan, these Megaevolutions remind me of Super Saiyan status in Dragon Ball Z. Of course, it has been over eight or so years since I've watched DBZ so there is no need to fire a canon (intentional) on me if I get some of this wrong, but if I recall, elevating through the levels of SS is indicated by (among other things) fabulous hair.

These Megaevolutions all have one thing in common: FABULOUS HAIR. Maybe headpiece, skull or whatever you want to call it for the MegaMewtwo.

I do realize that, what I was trying to say is that I find it ridiculous to find all the evo stones in game, as it appears that every megapokemon needs it's very own stone... Unless, there's only 30- megaevos in total...
